20.01.2022 October is like this every year. Straight out of August with a bullet!!! Like that really steep beginning bit of a BMX track / water slide park / skateboard ramp. EEEEEKKK!! So after a wonderful hens partayyyyyy for Am-ayyyyy :-) on the weekend (where the hen just wowed us all with her life drawing skills that she hadn't been using for a few years and rekindled her passion for life drawing), we've got a session on this Friday night in Mt Hawthorn at The Art Garage 191!! ... Am so looking forward to this! (Seriously, what is wrong with me? Public speaking in the nude, no-one looks forward to that?!?!?!? https://linktr.ee/themodelspeaks

18.01.2022 Well that was bloody good fun! What a way to get back into the real world by having a nudie drawing session at a whisky bar. Yep, everything's normal here. Well actually, better than normal. It saw normal and crossed to the other side of the street so it didn't have to be seen next to it.... 25 little drawing chickens at Goody Two's in the heart of the Perth CBD. Their hands so busy with whisky cocktails, champagne and drawing thingies that they barely got into any trouble. Perfect!! These delightful scribbles are by @mekel_illustration (find her on Insta). This was not her first rodeo, as you can tell by her ace drawing AND holding the phone at the same time technique. I am beyond impressed. :) If you were at the session please post your drawings and tag me here or on Insta (jane.ofthe.wild.urban.wardrobe). 16.01.2022 Thank you everyone who came along to Goody Two's yesterday afternoon. What a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Dressed nice, out with friends, having fun and enjoying free flowing bevies that you don't have to line up at a bar to get. And yeah, and semi public nudity with a few laughs and lots of "having a go". 09.01.2022 You may all well be saying "gosh what a relaxing time I've had during Covid Iso! It was actually quite nice not to do anything for a bit". Well I wish I had taken a leaf out of your books because I have been running around like a pant-less chook organising online life drawing sessions :-) Woo hoo!! 07.01.2022 I am so grateful for people that invite me to go places. Particularly if there is either a) cake or b) cocktails involved. This coming Saturday night, 15 August will have not so much from column a but an awful lot of column b. Oh, and some drawing.... I'll be back at Goody Two's for another beginner's life drawing session - and the drawing and sparkling drinkies you could ever wish for. It's a very civilised session from 4pm til 6pm - so you can then kick on at Goody Two's, house of resplendent whisky cocktails, or head out to your otherwise planned festivities. 06.01.2022 Get some lead in your pencil! Well, fun fact, there is no lead in a lead pencil. The pencil lead is made from graphite and a few other things. So you're free to keep chewing on them (you're own of course ;-). And then there's a rogue F in this this line up. So I looked it up. It stand for Fine and means that it can be sharpened to a fine point.... Handy for the pickled onion jar. Just so you know.

02.01.2022 Me getting all self-stalkery on social media and checking out Instagram for mentions (obviously there was nothing in tellie at that point in time). And I saw this review from the chickens at @the.tasting.team who came along to the first post Covy-Iso TMS event. I've done a few more at the wonderful Goody Twos since then and have another one in the planning for 19 September. I'll post a booking link when it's up. An underground Japanese whiskey bar with killer cocktails and a delicious fusion menu designed for sharing. We recently attended an event there ‘Behind Closed Doors’ a life drawing class perfect for beginners (which we very much are) hosted by @themodelspeaks, with bottomless bubbles. Fact - champagne makes you better at everything - including drawing! This was, and I cannot stress this enough, THE best girls night ever. Will definitely be keeping an eye out for their future events, and highly recommend Jane from ‘The Model Speaks’ for non stop laughs and drawing activities that really keep you engaged! - #regrann
