24.01.2022 Anyone who tried to book for my PSS workshop on Feb 26th but found it booked out I have now booked a larger room, so more spots are now available. PSS Defined Benefit Superannuation Workshop This is for the PSS defined benefits scheme only please do not register if you are in the newer PSSap scheme.... This is not simply a seminar to explain the rules of the PSS. This is a workshop to enable you to fully understand: What your current PSS benefits are What would extra contributions do? Should you pay down your mortgage or contribute more to the PSS? What effect would working Part Time have? When can I actually leave? What will my net take home income be in retirement at the various age brackets? You will receive a worksheet to assist you with this calculation What would go to my children if I die early? Lump Sum verses the pension, it is not always straight forward What can I expect if I get offered a redundancy? Long Service leave, Resignation, Preservation, Invalidity and Marriage Split You will leave the session with all the tools to be able to regularly update your situation without having to refer to the iEstimator. This is a two and a half hour evening session with time for all questions. 19.01.2022 I cant believe its February already the year is flying by! I have been busy making changes to the website and making it more relevant to the way the business now runs compared to how I imagined it over three years ago. I thank those people who responded to my recent survey about suggested topics for new courses and from the results I have started to create a new range of seminars. I have already scheduled the following courses and bookings can be made via my website: www.the...moneystudy.com.au PSS Defined Benefits workshop - Feb 26th Superannuation - The Accumulation Phase - March 26th Active Wealth Course - March 28th and 29th Superannuation - Transition and Retirement Phase - Apr 1st GenY/Millennials Finance Course - April 7th There are more in the pipeline as I find time to put them together. Hopefully these will also become available as recordings on the website

17.01.2022 I have been inundated with questions from clients whether to move to Cash or something more conservative with what is going on with the markets. This is always a difficult decision AFTER a fall has started, Is the drop nearly at an end or is there much further to fall? Someone stole my crystal ball so I don't have the perfect answer for you. I have been taking a very conservative stance for quite awhile now as the markets indeed seemed to be extended and I was expecting some... form of pullback to occur. A fortnight ago I placed some short positions (making money as the market falls), my signals were expecting a quick drop but I must admit I certainly was not expecting the severity of the fall in such a short time frame! Having the skills to move in both directions meant I was smiling while most people were panicking. I am sorry I am so booked out for those people concerned and worried about what to do. I am currently in the process of setting up facilities for me to assist without it having to be a face to face meeting. A whole new level of service hopefully. I will keep you posted.

17.01.2022 Active Wealth Course Do you know how to make money if the market is falling? This is a two day course held over the weekend of 28th/29th of March. I outline strategies to benefit from buying and selling shares whether the market is going up, down or sideways.... Keep track of an existing portfolio, or create a new one Understand online platforms, placing trades, orders and stops Understand the risks first before worrying about the rewards Use technical analysis to understand the direction of the markets Diversify with short term investments as well as long Buying is easy but when do you sell? Cost is $550 for the two days and will be held at the Dickson Tradies Club, Badham Street Dickson ACT. Need more info? Then email me, Malcolm Tew at: [email protected] To book a seat, book here: https://www.trybooking.com/BIJUP
