24.01.2022 2020 Onesun 'Gigolo Juice' Sauvignon Blanc (Mornington Peninsula, VIC) One of six Victorian gems in our current ‘Young, Wild & Free Pack’! Via @ditc.wine . Incredible first vintage from Sam Parker @onesunbooze who's currently working at Gentle Folk. On skins for three weeks, this is Sauvignon Blanc from the Peninsula through a road less travelled. All fermented and aged in stainless, it's as fresh as a Gunnamatta duck dive in Autumn, full of bruised apple, luxury aromatics, and textural satisfaction. . @parkerblain

22.01.2022 2020 Year Wines 'Sausage In Bread' Red, new to our online store shelves @ditc.wine. Luke Growden and Caleigh Hunt produce small batches of wines from McLaren Vale’s historic, but often overlooked varieties, with a very hands off approach to winemaking. Their wines are wild fermented and bottled unfined and unfiltered. ‘Sausage in Bread’ is a blend of Mataro and Grenache. In looks, smell and mouthfeel it exudes vitality, brightness and tang, and cherry cola fruit sweetness makes this dangerously drinkable. Chill it down, and slow down!

Now that we have that name dropping out of the way, let's talk about the Domain and the wines... . Laurent picks the entirety of his low-yielding 5.2 Hectare of vineyards (AC, 1er Cru Beauroy, 1er Cru Cote de Lechet, 1er cru Montmains) by hand, using the same picking team as Dauvissat (gentle ha...nds). Winemaking is traditional, with fermentation occurring in enamel tanks and maturation in old oak barrels. . The wines are scintillating, pure, and unbelievably mineral. 10.01.2022 CASA CATERINA. The ‘Spotlight Pack’. Now available @ditc.wine. We are so excited to be able to bring these incredible wines to the shores of Australia, and we think you'll enjoy them immensely! . From vineyards located in the Franciacorta zone of Lombardy, the phenomenal Del Bono brothers make sparkling wines with zero additions (save for the liqueur de tirage) that arrive from densely planted, organically-farmed vineyards that have never seen a synthetic herbicide or pestici...de sprayed on them in their long history. . Aurelio Del Bono takes his inspiration from time spent working for Anselme Selosse (Avize, Champagne) by producing wines with greater fruit ripeness than the rest of the zone, resulting in a wine that is aromatically generous and opulent, but that finishes with laser like precision from the lack of dosage. . Although located in the Franciacorta zone, the brothers have renounced the DOCG denomination in order to create wines unhindered by this classification, and that reflect the purity of the landscape in which they farm. They farm seven hectares, spread between the areas of Gaina, Dovecote and Persaga, which are located in the limestone rich soils of the East, on steep slopes with suitable exposure. . No sulfur nor dosage is added to the wines at any stage, the ferments are wild, and the wines are kept on lees for an extremely generous time (sometimes up to ten years!). . If you enjoy lively Pet Nats, but with the complexity of great Grower Champagne, then these wines are for you. If you like wine that tastes like fruit and minerals instead of oak, yeast and alcohol, then these wines are for you. But most importantly, if you prefer immaculately-farmed wines crafted with a gentle hand over entry-level Champagne with a well-known label, then these wines are for you. See more
