24.01.2022 Happy National Volunteers Week! A great opportunity to honour and recognise the countless individuals who selflessly invest in the lives of others. Ordinary citizens make extraordinary contributions to individuals, families, neighbourhoods and communities. Our vision is that Morley becomes a vibrant, connected, green and thiriving town centre with a strong sense of community and identity which is inclusive to all! We want to see our community grow into something amazing! The community spirit in our area is what makes our HOME truly special and unique. 24.01.2022 CLOSED. Management regret to inform all our patrons that we are closed until further notice! At 10:18pm a Large amount of water crippled our electric network ...internally. The water affected the main sports bar area and all equipment or electrical components within the sports bar causing a very dangerous situtation. It has also caused considerable damage to our Main Switch boards and electrical cabinets with fire and electrical surging. This incident was waiting to happen, as the lack of response from the owners/property managers of the building in relation to the standards of the building and the amount of non compliant standards have proven to now fall on deads ears. We have issued reports and tried numerous times to no avail of getting the items on the list rectified and made safe. None of the issues listed have been rectified or attention paid to them since February, and none of the ones that have also continued to be reported since! This incident has caused a valued staff member, friend, college and mate to our business to be injured by electric shock and it also placed our 53 patrons that were in the premise at the time in danger! Its now also costing us the business, our contractors, staff and suppliers in lost trade, work and events booked! We are devistaed! Western Power Emergency Response Team, DFES, Morley Fire Brigade, Our Management Team & the Managers and Staff of Perth Poker Leauge acted quickly and were able to evacuate all persons and staff safely wothour further injury or harm. The Property is until further notice a public risk and we ask you to not attempt to enter until the all clear is given. We want to be back up and running ASAP and hope we can be, but we will need your patience In The meantime! Please share this post and help us make the Owners/property managers be held accountable as this was avoidable and something no one in this current economy should be having happen. 01.01.2022 To celebrate National Tree Day the City are having a planting day at #ArborPark in #Morley on Sunday 2nd August (9am to 12pm) and VOLUNTEERS are needed! Will you join us? We recommend wearing enclosed footwear, a hat and raincoat just in case. There will be some trowels and gloves available, but please bring your own along if you have them.
