18.01.2022 Tonight Heath is booked to open for Jon Toogood at the Slug and Lettuce - Martins Road, Parafield Gardens. Due to the tough week we have all had, we are going to play this show as a trio. Come down and support what will be a great night. FREE entry with doors opening at 7:30pm. Rob Spencer will open the night about 8ish followed by us, then the legendary Jon Toogood. 18.01.2022 A huge thank you to all who came to send Daniel off yesterday. What was an extremely tough day was made a lot easier by having the support of friends and family there. Again our hearts go out to Sarah, Nick, Nada, Melissa, Jesse and the extended Cava family. He is much loved and forever missed.
17.01.2022 One year ago we lost our best mate and a day has not gone by where he has not been in our thoughts. Its not getting any easier but we know we all have to grind on for our loved ones. All we can say is if you are not feeling right, cant get on top of things or just are not yourself please reach out for help. We are all loved way more than we feel sometimes. Call friends and family. If you are not comfortable with that there are so many professional health services out there... geared to deal with issues we may be experiencing. There are the usual numbers like Lifeline (13 11 44), Beyond Blue (1300 22 46 36) and MOSH (8443 8369). In the past 12 months Michael has taken the initiative and started the absolutely brilliant Move2Live in memory of Daniel and other lost friends. Move2Live is a support group where we meet, walk/run and talk about anything. If you are alone, feeling lonely or just struggling in general this group is fantastic. If you are up and about and life is good, we would love you to be there too. It is for anyone and totally inclusive no matter what fitness or emotional levels you may be at. It is about camaraderie. Be good to everyone as we dont know what others are going through. You may just make a difference. To Daniel: thank you for being you. We will always love you, even though we could just slap you sometimes.

02.01.2022 A massive massive thank you to not only everyone who came out Friday night, but to all of you who we have spent time with as both Your Motive For and as The Motive. We have had a ball playing together for a long time and had a bucket load of good times along the way. There are far too many people to mention individually, but we would like to make special mention of a couple of people. Firstly a massive thank you to Josh Nicholls, Warwick Ing and Dieter Linde. Without these f...ellas the band would never have started. Love and huge hugs to Jungle City and the whole Finchley mob, your support and love has been enormous. To Pat Ramm, The Lizards and South Crew including Keys and Mark for being absolute gentlemen and the champions they are. Dusty Lee and all his various bands we have had the pleasure of watching and playing with, always surrounded by great people not only players. To the Imogen Brave, Little Miss, Squeaker and Irresponsibles camps for always being there with us and vice versa for a lot of good bloody nights over the years. Luke Ryan for being the man that he is, a rock of support. Marty the rockdog Bowman for being the dog. A massive thank you to Robert Dunstan for all of his support of us over a long time at various media positions, a true gentleman. To the greatest pub in the known universe, The Grace Emily Hotel and its staff and barflies. George and Sym we can never thank you enough. To brother Ash Starkey for all the years of support and the amazing support you have been in this last month. We loved your boy very very much and are eternally grateful for having met and spent so much time around one of the funniest, most caring and genuine people we have had the pleasure of knowing.
