I have been using YouTube videos such as these Irish dancing clips ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J...gXgEtT8VLY ) I love the patterns and costumes, they remind me of fairy folk. So I have been wearing a dress when I teach this class that makes me feel like one of the fairy folk. I think we will explore butterflies next, or maybe the ocean. 08.01.2022 Building strong dancers. The power of regression supports any body no matter what age to build the correct technique progressively and reduce injury risk. Why... do I regress the baby freeze to a frog balance? The scariest thing when you are teaching baby freeze is the moment people have to tip their balance and catch it with their head on the floor, until they build the strength to control this movement. The frog balance offers more mobility and you can get closer to the floor before you need to take your feet off. You could add a cushion and while they are practicing this they are discovering their boundaries with their centre of gravity.
