12.01.2022 This week I ran a workshop on the functional anatomy of the pelvis for my colleagues and peers. We looked at the fundamental design of the pelvis and the movement and coordination of the bones, muscles and joints that enable us to perform the most basic and also the most complex movements. I gave them an opportunity to experience movement in their own bodies that they had never experienced before, by simply understanding and embodying their basic design. They experienced changes in their posture, their flexibility and began to move more efficiently and safely. This is what it’s all about for me, what I love so much about what I do. Thank you @skmediaanddesign for capturing the day so beautifully and to @kinectedpilatesstudio and @franklinmethodaunz for making this method available to us right here in Australia .
