22.01.2022 A big thank you to the wonderful gardeners from the Darwin Backyard Plants group. What a lovely meeting at Frillys yesterday. Gardeners are such generous folk and some of the plants from the swap table will be finding a new home in our garden. It was lovely to introduce many of you to the garden. Community gardens are a fantastic resource and places to meet others with the same interests.... We hope you will all drop by again. See more

15.01.2022 The Sweetleaf Plant ( Sauropus androgynous) also known as Tropical Asparagus, or Katuk. A very versatile and nutritious plant that is popular from India to Malaysia. Very easy to grow as long as the kids and other animals can hold off eating it until it is established.

06.01.2022 Communal Gardening - Friday August 21 Join us at the garden to do some dry season pruning; a good time to cut back trees before the humidy climbs & plants burst into new growth. We will be cutting back our leggy citrus trees and harvesting bamboo. Join us from 5pm this Friday. With a bit of luck we'll reward ourselves with the most delicious locally grown pineapple after our labours! All welcome

03.01.2022 MANGO MADNESS. Our Garden to Plate cooking event is on Friday the 2 Nd of October from 5.30 pm. Our featured produce is the beautiful Mango.
