05.01.2022 2020 has changed me. I appreciate the people close to me more than ever, I never want to go back to being as busy as we were. Moving forward, my energy will be spent on people who take time to support and reach out to me ... How have you changed this year?

02.01.2022 At first glance it's an innocent handful of dry rice bubbles, a good breakfast or snack for the kids right? That was until my husband gave Scarlett a dry bowl of them while I was in the shower last night. I came out and she was eating them in my bed I asked her to go eat them at the table. As she walked she shovelled them into her mouth, they started falling all over the floor, Hudson walked behind her laughing, being sure to crunch them into the carpet . I told them t...o stop, they didn't. They started running, I gave chase. They thought it was an hilarious game. She shovelled faster than before and more rice bubbles flew through the air. Within minutes my newly clean house was covered in these dry, crunchy little grenades of dust. I quickly started vacuuming while yelling at them like a wet swamp monster but they just giggled. I'd lost control of my children and was losing the rice bubble battle. Even my Dyson had turned on me was flicking them around the floor and somehow crunching them up as I vacuumed. With nothing to lose I launched myself at Scarlett and grabbed the bowl. The situation was diffused and we all cleaned up together. Hours passed and at 10pm I hopped into bed. Only to find them scattered throughout my sheets and doona Hubby and I cleaned them a much as we could yet I still woke up with one in my hair and one stuck to my ear. WTF. From now on rice bubbles will only be served with milk and they will be eaten at the table!
