25.01.2022 Hey everyone! We have procured a remote controlled wheel chair base, question is... is anyone keen to build it with us? It could be: a self-driving robot, we could record its route using gps or mount a humanoid torso on it that can drive around and shoot tennisballs from its arm-cannons? The possibilities are endless! 20.01.2022 Hello everyone, We have moved the Sumo-bot comp to week 11 on Friday at 11 am due to logistical errors and not having the robots fully functional yet. The comp will be located at 44 Waterloo road in the first robotics area. If you still wish to join or just want to have a chat about the competition we will be working on the robots in the electronics maker space today in 44 Waterloo Road at 1pm between the two Engg 200/300 classes.

19.01.2022 Thanks to everyone who came to the soldering workshop yesterday. We have another workshop on next week where we will be putting together some Jay-car electronic kits. Let us know if your coming by pressing going on the event so we can purchase enough kits.

01.01.2022 Hey everyone, yesterday we had Erik give an awesome demonstration on how to use the laser cutter during the workshop to make a couple platforms for the Sumobot competition. If your interested come along today at 1 pm at 44 waterloo road, we will be in the electronic makerspace next to computer labs. Its not too late to join in the action, we run these workshops every week at 1pm on Tuesday and Wednesday.
