18.01.2022 Vegan "fried chicken" made from Lions Mane mushroom. This is by far my favourite way to eat Lions Mane, and the taste and texture is almost indistinguishable from real fried chicken. Simple as to make.. Tear the lions mane into chunks, make a simple wet batter (I use soy milk, chickpea flour, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, Cajun seasoning, salt and pepper) Dip those badboyz in the batter and deep/shallow fry in whatever oil you like. Let em cook for roughly 6-8 minutes until crispy and then insert into face

Found this pic on an old phone of my very first Martha (shroom community lingo for humidity controlled greenhouse, originally made using Martha Stewart portable closests - hence the name) My very first grow was a Reishi monotub a couple of years prior to this. Hard to believe I've been playing around with fungi cultivation for close to 10 years now. This photo gives me crazy feelings of nostalgia. Like most, I've struggled with mental health iss...ues throughout my life and felt lost, but discovering the incredible world of fungi all those years ago re-ignited my curiosity and passion for nature, science and our world in general, and that fire still burns just as intensely today. Probably not a stretch to say that mushrooms saved my life, and I am forever grateful for what they've given me. Never forget where you came from
