24.01.2022 Apologies for the late notice guys, but unfortunately the shop will be closed for the rest of the week. Brooke has had a dr visit this morning (not pandemic or cold/flu related) and has been advised to rest up for the next couple of days. She will be back up and running on Monday. This has been a strange week, during a very strange time for everyone so we appreciate your patience and understanding. Those regular clients who know Brooke well know how much she enjoys coming to ...work and seeing your friendly faces, so an extra special thank you to you guys....you all know who you are! Please remember, a little bit of kindness goes along way...so pay it forward Cheers legends!

23.01.2022 Thankfully, the closures announced by Scomo last night do not directly affect us...yet! We ask that everyone maintain their 1.5m distance from one another while waiting for a haircut. We will be removing some of the waiting chairs to help with the social distancing. We will be asking that no more than 4 people wait inside the shop at one time. I know this all seems silly, but we all need to be doing the right thing...not just for ourselves, but for everyone else around us.... Please, if you are unwell, stay home and rest. We will still be here ready to spruce you up once youre all better. If you have recently returned from overseas, or just came back from a cruise, we ask that you do not come into the shop for 2 weeks. These are scary times for everyone, but we can all play our part. 22.01.2022 Hey fellas! While we still remain open, please be aware that with the social distancing restrictions, we will only have space for a couple of people to wait in the shop at a time. We will also be cutting back the opening hours immediately. The shop will continue to open at 8am, but will close at 5pm (sometimes slightly earlier depending on how busy it is) every day until further notice. Please remember that we also do gift cerificates! If you wish to purchase a gift certifica...te, please send us an inbox and we will sort you out. Again, please, if you are unwell, have been overseas or have had contact with angone who has been overseas in the past 14 days...put off your haircut for at least 2 weeks. 19.01.2022 Ok guys! We have managed to source enough Glen 20 and disinfectant to get us up and running again so the shop we be open tomorrow until we advise otherwise, but there there are a few more safety precautions being implemented in the shop for your health and safety, and ours... From tomorrow onward, there will only be one client permitted in the shop at any one time...one out, one in. Anyone waiting for a cut, will need to wait outside the shop until its your turn, and make su...re you are maintaining your safe minimum distance in line with social distancing rules. There will be NO beard trims at all until further notice. We are asking for a bit of help as well...please guys, be patient with Brooke. She can only do what she can do. Yes, we realise waiting is frustrating...yes, we realise not being able to wait inside the shop is frustrating. We get it, but we want to ensure the hygiene in the shop is of the absolute highest standard. If you are unwell, or had contact with anyone who is unwell, please stay at home. Please note, you WILL be asked to leave if you look or sound like you are not 100% If you have travelled overseas, or been on a cruise recently, please do not come in for a haircut. 18.01.2022 Shop is open 8am to 6pm today, and 8am to 2:30pm tomorrow guys! Shop will close at 2:30pm tomorrow and will be closed for 3 weeks, reopening on 3rd November. 16.01.2022 Remember, this weekend is a long weekend for Australia day The shop will be closed Monday 27th Shop closes at 6pm today but Brooke is flying solo so if youre heading in for a spruce up this arvo, please be patient....and if you happen to miss out (the shop fills pretty quick on a Friday arvo) please remember that Brooke can only do what she can do and does NOT need to cop an earful because she wants to get out of there on time and home to her family. Brookes back has decided it doesnt want to play the game...so the shop is now closed for the weekend so she can rest up over the next 3 days to make sure she is able to minimise the impact this has on trading hours - We definitely do not want to close for any longer than we have to, so we are taking the precautions now to make sure there is no long term affect this time around. 14.01.2022 Hey fellas! Just a reminder with PLENTY of notice, the shop will be closed from 12th October through to 27th October inclusive. The shop will reopen at 8am Wednesday 28th October. Yes, its a fair way off, and things may change between now and then (hopefully not) but Brooke is tying the knot on Saturday 17th October so will be having the week prior to this off to prepare, and a week and a bit immediately following off to spend some much anticipated time with family and frien...ds (and maybe sneak a few nights away with the new hubby). Plenty of notice for this one guys so make sure you head in during late September or first week of October to get yourselves sorted if you have something on! Cheers

12.01.2022 The Muswellbrook Barber is still open! Feel free to head in for a tidy up, but please note Brooke is not doing beard trims at the moment due to th coronavirus pandemic. We are taking all precautions and more to keep all our clients (and ourselves) safe and healthy. Please do not come in if you are unwell, or if you have either been overseas, or had contact with anyone who has, in the last 2-3 weeks.... We also now have a one person out, one person in policy for the time being. If you are waiting outside the shop for a cut, please ensure you are keeping a minimum distance of 1.5m from anyone else for your own health and safety as well as theirs. 11.01.2022 Hi guys. Sorry to say the shop is now closed as we have run out of Glen 20 and disinfectant. Your health is important to us, so we have made the heartbreaking decision to close for now. We are on the hunt for disinfectant and other cleaning products to enable us to get back in there and keep you looking fresh. Due to viruses and illness getting around, anyone that has flu like symptoms like coughing, running nose, sore throat etc, could we please ask that you do not come in for a haircut We would like to stay healthy and well to keep providing quality services to you all Customers...if you notice someone sitting next to you with any of these symptoms, feel free to suggest they come back another day, or let Brooke and/or Anna know so they can suggest the same.... Once you are fully recovered, we will be happy to sort you out...please remember we have families and do not need to be taking germs home to them Thanks for the understanding

Please, if you are unwell, have been overseas or on a cruise in the last 2 weeks (or come into contact with anybody who has) we ask that you do not come into the shop. Please postpone for at least 14 days. On top of this, please also note that we will not be doing beards for the time being.... Thank you all for your support and a big thank you to everyone who is doing the right thing. Please spare a thought for the small businesses who have had to close their doors.
