22.01.2022 FULL MOON IN SAGITTARIUS - stand our ground, claim our power, and allow the voice of our inner fire to speak. It is also a moon to extend on your social connections and set up joyful events, so that you have more reason to work on those social connections. The full moon is the perfect time to remember to put your crystals out to charge in the moons energy. It is also an excellent time to focus on letting go of everything that no longer serves us in our lives. #fullmoon #sagittarius #social #design #joyful #crystals #energy #intuitive #intuitivedesigner #graphicdesign #webdesign #emailmarketing

15.01.2022 Believe in you!

09.01.2022 A BRIEF INTRO TO THE UPCOMING SABBAT WINTER SOLSTICE (YULE) In Australia our Winter Solstice is fast approaching. Witches see Winter Solstice as both the time o...f greatest darkness and the longest night of the year and as the time of the birth of a Divine King. Celebrated as the return of the Sun God where the God is reborn of the Goddess, so the image of mother and son is very popular. This year in the Southern Hemisphere Yule falls on June 21st. Some Traditional Yule Foods & Decorations: roast vegetables, fowl (turkey, chicken, duck), goose or pig, salmon, plus nuts, cookies, fruitcake, mulled wines, lemons, Holly, a Yule tree, wreaths, mistletoe, lights, gifts, the image of mother and child. I always make a roast dinner for Winter Solstice to share with my family and we give a gift to each other at this time too. And I love making gingerbread and fruit cake and collecting pine cones too! Are there certain symbols, decorations or customs you are making a focus for your Winter Solstice celebration this year? I'd love to hear what you like to do xx

08.01.2022 Happy Easter Everyone I hope that the Easter Bunny found his way through to you all.

03.01.2022 What are you doing for self care today?

01.01.2022 Today is Mabo Day in Australia; today we celebrate the work of Eddie Koiki Mabo, whose campaign for Indigenous land rights led to the High Court decision to ove...rturn the legal myth of Terra Nullius on this day in 1992. Today, all over the world, people are protesting the murder of George Floyd by the Minneapolis Police Department in the US, and the long and ongoing history of police brutality and violent systemic racism against black and indigenous people. This is not just an American problem; in Australia, 432 Indigenous people have died in state custody since the 1991 Royal Commission into Aboriginal Deaths in Custody; more than one death every month in the nearly 30 years since a Royal Commission was required to ensure it stopped happening. There has not been a single conviction. I can’t breathe were also the final words of Dunghutti man David Dungay, killed by police in Sydney in 2015. What horrified us all when confronted by it on video has been an ongoing reality in this country since colonisation. Indigenous Australians are the most incarcerated people in the world. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people make up just over 2% of the population of this country and comprise 27% of the prison population. Half of the children in youth detention are Indigenous, and in the Northern Territory that figure is 100%. Suicide is the leading cause of death in Aboriginal children aged between 5 and 17 years old, and suicide in Aboriginal adults is nearly twice that of non-Indigenous adults. This may not relate directly to Paganism, but it relates to us all as human beings. The Pagan Collective of Victoria believes, emphatically, that Black Lives Matter. We stand with the Black Lives Matter movement because of the profound and violent inequality suffered by Aboriginal people in this country, and by black and Indigenous people all over the world. Too many people do not have the luxury of not getting involved in politics, because every single day, their lives, or lives like theirs are lost and so it falls to us all to see that inequity addressed. In our justice systems, in our governments, and in our own lives and attitudes. This did not begin with our generation, but we can work with the intent that it ends with it. In the words of Yolngu man Danzal Baker Boy Baker, as your eyes open and you slowly awaken to the realities of what it is like to be a Person of Colour, an African American, an Indigenous Australian, I truly hope your activism goes further than your social media. Activism starts at home, with hard conversations. How can we help? There are many ways that we, as allies, can help address this: *Call out racism when we see it. Don’t laugh at those jokes, even if they seem harmless. Call out acquaintances or family members, if they make racist statements. Make casual racism socially unacceptable. It’s part of a wider problem. *Amplify black voices. Share the words and the work of Indigenous writers and activists. *Join the movement. There are protests being organised all over the country for this coming weekend. If you can’t attend, consider sharing the events so others can. *Consider donating to or following the organisations listed below, to enable them to do their incredibly valuable work.
