10.01.2022 Sharing with you the first recording of Caravan. Caravan was first performed in 1936 and recorded in 1937 as an instrumental by Barney Bigard and His Jazzopators. The musicians were members of the Duke Ellington Orchestra with Bigard as the session band leader. 08.01.2022 Since April 21st, I (Amanda clarinet/arranger) have been part of a Sunset Club. Every evening I go out and watch the sunset (mmm not every night is a good show) and then text comments and images to the other Sunset Club member. It is a way of staying in touch, having/giving support, and viewing nature. Here are some of my favourite photos. Stay safe, keep well xox

03.01.2022 The Mystic Charmers were to perform for their first time at the 2020 Newport Folk Festival (Melbourne). However the physical festival has now moved online with 5 performers on Saturday 27 and 5 performers on Sunday 28th live-streamed on Facebook via the festival page. This is a free event.
