23.01.2022 Headaches & Migraines. Often either a musculoskeletal problem or hormonal, or both. With Bowen we can very often get to both aspects. Sometimes without even trying too hard

23.01.2022 During the first few days after your treatment you may experience a "healing crisis" (where the body releases a mass of toxins in one go), which may result in *... feeling more emotional * older injuries may temporarily flare up * feeling stiff or sore * tiredness. These symptoms are all perfectly normal. The best thing to do before a treatment is to make sure you are hydrated, and following your treatment keep drinking lots of water which will help ease these affects. A gentle walk for 15 minutes each day after will keep everything moving and continue to flush any toxins. It is important to have your second and even a third treatment one week later booked so you can touch base and continue the healing response your body has created. Bowen is not designed to make you instantly feel better, it is designed to make you instantly heal better. Be patient and gentle with yourself.

A roll-on blend for post birth, calming support.... I can create a set for any occasion/need, for gifts or for yourself! Should I create some premade sets for Christmas gifts?

09.01.2022 Bowen Therapy saved my life When I was in my 20s I was living a very chaotic existence and was under a lot of stress. I developed extreme jaw pain and was dia...gnosed with neuralgia. Which is where the muscles contract on the nerves. I had been in agony suffering for three days, which might not sound like a lot, but it was so excruciating that I was in a fetal position moaning and rocking. In complete despair, I tried a number of treatments and all kinds of pain killers and nothing was working. And so, in my absolute desperation, I called a friend who suggested I try ‘Bowen Therapy’. I had never heard of it, so I called the Bowen Therapist that she recommended and booked in. On the way there I remember thinking to myself, if this doesn't work, I’m going to kill myself! It sounds crazy, but the pain was so ‘intense’ that I just couldn’t bear it any longer, and wanted it to end. I arrived at the therapists' clinic and she had me lay down on the table and began doing these very subtle moves with her hands which was actually very soothing. Less than halfway through the session, the pain started easing, and I burst into tears! I was so grateful that I didn't have to go home and kill myself. I had about five or six more sessions, and it completely restored my jaw condition. On top of that, I had muscular pain in my calves for as long as I could remember, and it relieved that condition as well! The experience was so profound and had such an impact on my life that I decided to study the therapy. It’s absolutely amazing that a Bowen Therapist can do some small tweaks, with love, care, and a gentle touch to help resolve someone's pain. There really is no condition that I have come across that cannot be supported or resolved with Bowen Therapy. If there is anyone reading this that is in chronic pain for the price of one session all you have to lose is your suffering! I sometimes wonder what would off happened if didn’t book in for that one session, I am so grateful that I did.
