22.01.2022 This is my Daughter Jade, 21 weeks pregnant In vogue 1651.......... I flared the dress a bit more to accomodate the baby bump and changed the sleeve. She went to a function last Saturday night feeling great. Thank goodness we can sew, come and shop at the Needleworks Happy sewing Helen

19.01.2022 This is Nina from our Monday am class. She is wearing New Look 6524 with a little added flare. The fabric is a linen cotton perfect for the hot weather.

18.01.2022 A bit of inspiration for our Resort Stonewashed Linen Competition (link in profile) Karen wore her Butterick 5616 to her last lesson. It looks fabulous in the Pumice Stonewashed Linen. It really is a versatile fabric and Karen has found this colour goes with many other garments in her wardrobe.

17.01.2022 Vogue 9347 is becoming a favourite pattern here at The Needleworks. Sandra has made her version in a heavy cotton fabric and it looks fantastic.

11.01.2022 Kay took her inspiration for this dress from a ready to wear top she spotted online. To make her dress Kay self-drafted the collar and put it on the Cityscapes Dress by @sewingworkshop. It looks even better than Kay's original inspiration. The fabric is a linen(now sold out - be we have other suitable fabrics)
