10.01.2022 For many years I have been inspired by the amazing ladies I have worked with in the whale shark industry. Words cant really describe how in awe of them Ive bee...n. They are the fearless guides, the skippers, the pilots, the deck hands, the cooks, the psychologists, the marine rescuers, the photographers and just generally the personalities and smiles that is the glue behind every successful whale shark tour. Ive had the idea of doing a calendar to show how amazing and beautiful these girls are for years but I finally got of my backside to do it. The result is an 18 month non for profit calendar to be released on March 31 this year. All proceeds go to Ecocean to raise money to tag big female whale sharks as nothing is known about where the ones at Ningaloo breed or give birth. This here is a little taste of the photos that are in the calendar. The great thing about it is that we were all out of our comfort zone. None of the girls were models, nothing was photo shopped and Im an action sport photograpger and film maker not a fashion guru. But we all had fun. I hope you enjoy it and please spread the love ...
