25.01.2022 OUR SPECIAL GUEST CHEF JACKIE WEBB IS BACK AGAIN!! We are soooo thrilled to have Jackie from Organic Pantry back in our kitchen this Saturday!! We will miss our amazing chef Brenda for sure but so fortunate to have Jackie ready and excited to step in whilst she is away. Jackie is famous for her love of high quality, tasty, nutritious food and will be whipping up delicious omelettes for us this weekend!... These omelettes are packed with yummy goodness - sautéed onion, fresh tomato, mushrooms, parsley and rocket together with your choice of locally made goats fetta from Ebuta Goat Dairy or DF macadamia fetta. You'll also have the option of adding any sides you like such as bacon, smashed avocado or tomato relish. We really respect and admire the important role that people in the emergency services play in our community... so we have designed a special menu for you to be able to drive through and pick up while you are on the go! Our son PJ looks up to all of the police officers, ambos and firemen and says thats what he wants to do when he grows up!! ... We all love saying hi to you all when you come in to The Nook (especially PJ!) The Nook is open Thursday, Friday and Saturdays from 8am - 11am.

21.01.2022 How perfect is this weather for enjoying delicious warming drinks?! As well as our delicious coffees made with locally roasted beans from Freelance Coffee Roasters, our chai lattes and Italian hot chocolates are really popular. Our secret to making them taste so great is using natural, high quality ingredients. Our chai is made by our friends at Treehouse Chai and our Italian hot chocolates are made with melted rich dark chocolate to give them that special, decadent flavour.... We also use the best milks available to us including the Misty Mountain dairy milks from Mungalli Creek Dairy and Bonsoy and activated almond milk. Brenda, our lovely chef is an expert at making Hollandaise sauce in the traditional way so you are in for a real treat. ... I love them both so much that I often end up having have both so I dont have to choose! At The Nook, tomorrow and Friday morning well be warming your bellies with our house-made GF/DF Nourishing toast topped with delicious slow-cooked baked beans or smashed avo and fetta, toasted banana bread and pancakes, as well as our delicious range of hot drinks. 11.01.2022 New Pancake Dish // Do you ever struggle to decide whether to go sweet or savoury for breakfast? I certainly do and usually end up having both. If youre a bit the same then this creation is for you as it is a little bit sweet and a little bit savoury! We have paired our pancake stack with a serving our delicious nitrate free bacon, grilled bananas and salted caramel sauce. So yummy! Must give credit to my gorgeous little 4 y.o hand model who patiently allowed me to take a mi...llion shots of him holding the fork in various positions until we got it just right. Happy Friyay!

Its the first time weve done something like this and we hope you love the idea as much as we do. 07.01.2022 We got lucky and secured the last batch of delicious GF pork sausages from an amazing local business - Five Gully Farms. Five Gully Farm (now closed) prides itself on raising hormone and vaccination free happy paddock raised pigs. You can really taste the difference too as these sausages are seriously delicious! ... I love a good BBQ and felt to hold a sausage sizzle in honour of all my GF/DF buddies who cant usually partake in such things, due to dietaries. We will be serving these delicious sausages on yummy GF bread topped with organic tomato sauce, sauerkraut, and turmeric cashew cheese (for some added flavour and beautiful colour!). So no gluten and no dairy replaced with bucket loads of lovely, natural flavours! So come on down to The Nook this Saturday morning and enjoy a guilt free sausage. Please note that we will be running our sausage sizzle just outside The Nook for takeaway. The Nook cafe will be running as usual.

We LOVE supporting local and were proud to have teamed up with Calvin and his team from Freelance Roasting to bring you the best locally made coffee weve found in Townsville.
