24.01.2022 A historic moment in 2017.
22.01.2022 Even in the midst of a pandemic, Australians are clear about the nuclear weapon ban treaty. Nuclear weapons do not address the real threats we face.

08.01.2022 BIG NEWS: Fifty-six former presidents, prime ministers, foreign ministers and defence ministers from 20 NATO member states, Japan and South Korea have just rall...ied behind the #nuclearban treaty in an open letter calling on their own governments to join the TPNW! https://www.icanw.org/56_former_leaders These former leaders - including Ban Ki Moon and NATO's Willy Claes & Javier Solana - are urging their countries to reject any role for nuclear weapons in our defence, and join the UN treaty that bans these weapons instead. This letter is the biggest show of high-level support in nuclear-endorsing states that the treaty has had so far, and with polls in many of these countries already show that the vast majority of the citizens in these states want nuclear weapons banned, too! Help us increase the pressure to make politicians in these states turn this support into political action. Share this letter far & wide https://www.icanw.org/56_former_leaders
06.01.2022 Wow! This is a big development.
Danke!
03.01.2022 #Throwback to October 24th, when the #nuclearban treaty reached its 50th ratification! Get inspired with us watching this powerful speech by ICAN campaigner Linnet Ng'ayu at UN First Committee, only a few weeks before we reached that critical milestone
03.01.2022 Today is the International Day for Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons. Nuclear weapons threaten everything we hold dear and there are no safe hands for unsafe weapons. That's why we're committed to the total elimination of nuclear weapons.
