22.01.2022 Weather is warming up in Sydney!! Picnic lunches at the park are back Thanks @planetbox for making lunch on the go so easy . . #healthiestkidontheblock #planetbox #picnic #bestfriends #siblings #cucumber #capsicum #orange #meatballs #fruitsalad

18.01.2022 Kiwi Fruit This delicious fruit is a great finger food option for bubbas 8+ months in age. It’s packed with antioxidants and fibre but the real gem is it’s vitamin C content. Kiwi fruit contains more vitamin C (per 100g) than an orange making Kiwi a great immunity booster during these times when we need it most. ... We recommend waiting until 8-10 months to introduce this fruit as the acid content is a bit higher. If Bub has a sensitive tummy or experiences nappy rash, hold off on introducing this until 10+ months old. Swipe to see how we like to remove the skin and chop up for tiny fingers to grab. No need to remove the seeds. They are so small and are not a choking hazard. To test if the fruit is soft enough for baby led weaning, pop a piece in your mouth and if you can easily squish it by pushing it between your tongue and the roof of your mouth then you’re good to go #kiwi #vitaminc #thenutritionproject_au #infantnutritionprogram #babyledweaning #fingerfood #healthiestbabyontheblock #fruit #yummyinmytummy

06.01.2022 This is Mia. She is my vibrant, passionate and fiercely loving 6 year old. For those of you who don’t know her personally, she loves helping others and also happens to be a natural when it comes to public speaking. When she came to me and said she wanted to start a podcast so she could talk to other kids her age about the issues facing her generation (yes, those were her words), I just had to support her. She’s named her podcast Glitter Hour (but each episode only goes fo...r about 5-10 minutes) and we’ve got just over 20 episodes in the books. Swipe to see her logo. If you have a little one who would benefit from listening to a perspective on the world from someone their age, please subscribe on Apple podcasts. We’d love your support so please rate and review us. If Apple products aren’t your jam, you can find Mia on Spotify, too. Happy Listening!! #glitterhour #podcast #publicspeaking #6yearsold #inspirational #whenigrowup #iwanttobejustlikeher #proudmama #rateandreview #5stars #happylistening @ Crows Nest, New South Wales, Australia

01.01.2022 SWEET POTATO CHIPS (or sweet potato fries for my American friends) are a nutrient dense option packed with vitamins A, C, B6, potassium, manganese and copper to name a few. The real magic of sweet potatoes comes the next day when you eat the cold leftovers. Cooked and cooled potatoes are a fantastic source of resistant starch which is excellent for bowel health but difficult to get in our diet. (This works with white potatoes too!) My gorgeous friend @laurengracefitzsimons sh...owed me how to chop these up and I’ve never looked back. Sweet potato chips are a staple in our house. Chop them up just like in the photo. Toss them in olive oil. Spread them on a baking tray (with parchment paper if you want easy clean up) and sprinkle with Celtic sea salt if you’d like. Bake at 180C / 350F in a fan forced oven for 35 minutes or until toasted to perfection. If you have a little one who is starting to grasp finger food or if you’re doing baby led weaning then definitely try these for your bub! Make sure to coat them with a generous amount of cold pressed olive oil prior to cooking. This will help bub digest and get all the goodness out of this #superfood #sweetpotatochips #sweetpotatofries #homemade #thenutritionproject_au #infantnutritionprogram #blw #resistantstarch #yuminmytum @ Crows Nest, New South Wales, Australia
