18.01.2022 HOW MANY PLANT-BASED MEAL DO YOU HAVE IN A WEEK? The benefits of eating more plants are huge: increased fiber intake for a healthier gut and microbiome decreased risk of chronic diseases like hypertension, type 2 diabetes and some forms of cancer ... healthier planet I think ALL our meals should be based on plants, meaning that you should never miss a good serve of vegetables at each meal, however I also recommend to have at least 2-3 vegetarian meals per week including at least one completely plant-based meal. One of my favorite plant-based meal is Satay Tofu served with vegetables and basmati rice. The recipe is very easy: - bake the tofu cubes at 180 degrees for 30 minutes until crunchy - make the satay sauce by mixing 1 tbsp of peanut butter, 1 tbsp soy sauce, and 1 tbsp of coconut milk or water - serve with rice and vegetables Let me know if you are going to try this recipe #plantbaseddiet #plantbasedmeals #healthylifestyle #healthyrecipes #healthyfood #healthydiet #flexitarian #flexibility #eatmoreplants #nutrition #nutritionisttips #tips #tipsforhealth #tofu #sataytofu

15.01.2022 Hello I am finally back on this page after a long three months break! Sorry I have abandoned you for so long I went through a social media "burn out", I felt so stressed and anxious about posting the perfect content everyday and take photos of every single thing I ate. Life is stressful as it is, I definitely did NOT need extra stress from social media.... I created this page to give simple and helpful nutrition tips and not to become a graphic designer, a chef or a photographer! So here I am back but with a different attitude! My page may not look aesthetically perfect but I promise it'll keep delivering helpful information about nutrition and food, which are my true passions. p.s. I have also become a mum of this gorgeous little fluff ball named Roger, you might spot him in my stories from now on Thank you for being here #nutritionist #food #nutrition #realtalk

04.01.2022 LOW-FAT or FULL-FAT yoghurt? I got asked this question a lot and the answer is... it depends, but I would generally recommend the full-fat version over the low fat. WHY? 1. we should all try eat more whole and less processed foods. Well, whole milk comes with some fats and there is a good reason for it. Fats help with the absorption of important vitamins contained in milk, including vitamin A and vitamin B12. ... 2. The type of fats in yoghurt are mainly saturated fats, aka the "bad ones", yes that is correct, however, new research have shown that saturated fats from dairy products is not that harmful on our heart as we used to believe and also, yoghurt doesn't contain a huge amount of saturated fats (only 3g per 100g) 3. if you are trying to lose weight choosing full fat yoghurt can actually help, because fat is an incredibly satiating nutrient and will help avoid overeating later in the day 4. a higher fat content also helps slowing down the absorption of sugar in your meal, this helps keeping you full for longer and reduce insulin production (= easier weight loss and reduced risk of diabetes). 5. full fat yoghurt tastes soo much better! Which one do you usually choose? #yoghurt #food #foofacts #foodforthought #nutrition #nutrituontips #greekyoghurt #dairy #dairies #fatloss #fatphobia
