24.01.2022 I’m grateful for the warm running water when I shower.
24.01.2022 Fruit and Nut Slice, Easy and Delicious 2 cups rolled Oats, 1 1/2 cups mixed nuts, 1/2 cup dried fruit (I use apricots/sultanas/mulberries), 1/2 cup coconut flakes, 1 cup hemp seeds, 1 1/2 cups melted coconut oil, 1/2 cup peanut butter, 1/3 cup maple syrup. Pinch homemade iodised salt (salt mixed with dulse flakes) Mix dry ingredients in a bowl, add coconut oil, peanut butter to saucepan, gently heat until melted, add maple syrup to melted mixture. Pour over dry ingredients, mix well. Line baking tray/dish with baking paper, preferably non bleached. Press mixture into tray and refrigerate for 4-6 hrs . Slice and enjoy.

23.01.2022 We love to activate Nuts to help with digestion and increase the nutritional value of them. It’s actually quite a process. We soak them in filtered water with a dash of salt overnight, then rinse them and slowly dehydrate at a low temperature. This process breaks down the phytic acid and polyphenols that are in the outer layer of Nuts. Our bodies don’t contain the enzymes to do this and this is what can cause inflammation and bloating. Eating Activated Nuts is much easier on our tummies plus they are so light and delicious.

22.01.2022 I used to believe that going at everything hard and fast was the way to live. Bullshit!! I completely burnt myself out and had to slowly and I mean s-l-o-w-l-y rebuild who I was. I had to make changes I didn’t necessarily like at the time but wow they brought me back to a place where I had enough energy to cook real food everyday, make time for me, spend quality time with my son and husband, get out into nature, love napping but best of feel good! I’m living a way happier, healthier life, all thanks to slowing down.
21.01.2022 Pimp your salad, smoothie bowl, soul bowl, smoothie, whatever takes your fancy. It’s easy to add - boosts your daily intake of essential vitamins and minerals. Just add a handful of nuts/seeds. Fueling our bodies with the right foods is sooo important. Sunflower seeds are rich in the B complex vitamins, which are essential for a healthy nervous system, and are a good source of phosphorus, magnesium, iron, calcium, potassium, protein and vitamin E. They also contain trace minerals, zinc, manganese, copper, chromium and carotene. I love how amazing real foods are!!!
21.01.2022 It really goes hand in hand. I don’t like consuming toxic sprays, synthetic fertilizers, preservatives, additives, food made in a lab. Then there is no way I want to be putting anything on my skin that is harmful. Such as numbers, chemicals, preservatives, additives. ... Did you know that whatever you put on your skin your body absorbs, yep your body has to filter and try and get rid of the toxins in all body products. When I started reading labels (the chemical maze is a great place to start learning what those numbers mean) I was furious! How on earth are they allowed to do this? With some sassy marketing the shit they sell us is highly poisonous. When you think about the amount you apply to your face and/or body everyday, you can imagine the build up of toxins your body has to try and process. Luckily for those of us who want less toxic shit in our lives we can now choose from a huge range of amazing make up and body care products. They actually nourish us instead of poison us. For example Make up is allowed to have ingredients that may cause skin inflammation, cancer and hormone problems, WTF
19.01.2022 Now I’m in my 40’s, having enough sleep - can set me up for motivation or sloth. I know I need enough sleep to be productive on every level. So saying no sometimes is completely necessary. I really love my bed too.

16.01.2022 Biodynamic Farming is absolutely amazing!! Sustainable, no poisonous chemicals sprayed all over our land and food, an innate connection between farmer and land, growing nutrient dense food, 1/3 less water usage compared with convention farming. BIODYNAMICS is for the longevity of this beautiful planet. This is seriously the most amazing way to grow food. If only all farms were Biodynamic. Although there is over 1,000,000 acres farmed this way in Australia, thanks to #alexpodolinsky. More to come on this seriously awesome farming method.

14.01.2022 I’ve really started to love the sweetness of fruit in salads. Salads are just so easy to toss together, although sometimes the prep isn’t as easy as it sounds. They’re just such a great addition to most meals. Crunchy, nutrient dense, a taste sensation. Some of favorite fruits are pomegranates, mango, apple and pear. Pls let me know your favorite salads. Always loving new recipes.

12.01.2022 15min, shoes and socks off, stand on the earth (not concrete!!) and connect. You will feel soooo good doing this. It really will ground you, mind, body & spirit. Earthing/Grounding allows a transfer of negatively charged electrons from the Earth’s surface into the body. These electrons neutralise positively charged free radicals that cause chronic inflammation. Try it and see.

11.01.2022 Brekkie for me most days is a Smoothie. I like easy, quick and nourishing. Today I’m sharing a couple of recipes that tick boxes. 1) of course a SMOOTHIE - throw everything in the blender for 1 min 30 sec. I use a high powered one and it is completely smooth with this amount of time. 1 frozen banana (from the fruit bowl if it’s a cold morning), Handful of baby spinach, some papaya (whatever amount floats your boat), 2tbls cacao, maca (this smells so good), splash of maple ...syrup, soaked chia seeds (overnight soak in almond milk, I find my gut digests it much easier), dollop of coconut vanilla yogurt, 1/2 tsp eucommia bark and reishi from SuperFeast, 3ooml biodynamic almond milk. This is enough to get me through to lunch. Let me know if you try it and like it. 2) However much of our Kodama blissful trail mix you feel like, ( a delicious mix of activated Nuts and seeds, hemp seeds, sesame seeds (all hormone loving), dried organic mulberries, coconut flakes) topped with my old favorited coconut vanilla yoghurt. You could add fresh fruit too, sometimes I have time sometimes I don’t. These are warmer weather brekkies for me as I have a cold constitution. 09.01.2022 I’m all about balance. Yes I do love eating healthy nutritious meals but gosh the relief and ease of ordering take out when I’m feeling burnt out or working late is so nice. I never used to be like this and avoided eating out or at friends places knowing it wasn’t going to be organic, loaded with veggies and dairy free. Then I saw that missing out on those social occasions can be really detrimental to my health too. Now I’ve found a lovely balance and the joy in my life is incredible. Less stress is what it’s all about for me.

02.01.2022 Bliss balls - quick, no cooking required, bloody nutritious. Hooray! If you want to do this really simply, buy some of our blissful trail mix, add a few medjool dates and coconut oil, blend and roll into balls. Eat What you need if you don’t have our trail mix - Nuts, Seeds, coconut, cacao, medjool dates, blend into a mix that’s wet enough to stick together, roll the ball in desiccated coconut. Eat. So simple and filling.
