23.01.2022 DON'T TEXT UR EX (are going on hiatus) with special guests Nothing Really @ The Old Bar - TONIGHT! After debuting their EP 'Or You Can If You Want' in late 2019, COVID stopped Don't Text Ur Ex in their tracks. The duo has decided to put the project to bed for now, so come and farewell the end of this DTUX era, with support from Nothing Really.... It all kicks off at 7.30 pm, $15 on the door.

WE WILL BE CLOSING AT 11PM TO ALLOW ENOUGH TIME FOR PUNTERS AND STAFF TO GET HOME BEFORE MIDNIGHT. COME FOR ONE LAST (SOCIALLY DISTANCED AND RESPONSIBLE) HURRAH BEFORE LOCKDOWN. WE WILL THEN BE CLOSED FOR 5 DAYS, reopening at 3pm Thursday (as far as we know at this point).... ORIGINAL POST: Fill your Friday night with some garage rock when THE MAGGIE PILLS + FRONTSIDE BACKSIDES play The Oldie. The Maggie Pills is a six-piece featuring members from Latin America and Australia who largely owe their success to a mildly anxious chihuahua Maggie and her peanut butter encrusted meds. Hence, The Maggie Pills. Supporting TMP is another band that amends itself well to an acronym, Frontside Backsides FSBS. $15 on the door from 7pm.
