25.01.2022 In these uncertain times it is time to celebrate Easter at home. What better way to do it than enjoy a scrumptious meal from The Old Grain Store and a bottle of wine or a beer. From today onward we have been issue a special take-away licence for alcohol. Thats right we can deliver to your door all of your favourite Grain Store food and alcohol. Please have a great Easter and stay safe and remember we are open every day through Easter 5:30 pm till 8:30 pm.

24.01.2022 BRHS Front Line Worker Delivery This week was the second delivery of meals to our front line workers at the Bairnsdale Regional Hospital. 19.01.2022 As things slowly return to normal I would like to thank our great customers who have supported us through these trying times. We werent sure how our menu would transfer to take away but we have changed and adapted some of our dishes to ensure our high standard has been maintained. We are please to announce that we will be continuing or take away service when we reopen. From Tuesday 2nd of June we will be reopening the restaurant for lunch and dinner but will be exceeding th...e current COVID-19 regulations. 18.01.2022 Well we have just had some good news today for the first time in a long time. As of Thursday it looks like we can open the restaurant again even if only in a limited capacity. 17.01.2022 We are excited to announce as of Thursday night we will be open for dining in the restaurant. There will be a maximum of 20 diners inside and 20 outside weather permitting. Tuesday to Thursday we will have one sitting unless numbers dictate otherwise and Friday and Saturday night we will have two sittings 5:30 pm and 7:30 pm. Bookings will be essential and feel free to take advantage of our courtesy bus. Lunchtime dining will commence next Tuesday (22nd Sept). We will continue our take-away and delivery options so if you miss out on a booking you can still enjoy our food at home.

We are very aware of our environmental footprint and have decided to engage the services of Solargain Gippsland to help. Garth and his team have been excellent to deal with and talked us through the process in easy to understand language. We will also be launching or new menu soon so if you have any favourites on the current menu come in before they are gone.

The event was not as big as we had hoped but I am sure that Blaze Aid will welcome and donation. Twice a week we make these meals and take them to the hospital for a front-line worker to enjoy. Its the little things that make a difference.
