24.01.2022 Congrats Victoria... we are nearly there! Our doors are officially allowed to open as of 9th November. Never thought deep cleaning with this clown would be so much fun! 23.01.2022 Hi We are The Old Mechanics There’s a lot of new people who have discovered our page since we launched our giveaway yesterday https://www.facebook.com/theoldmechanics/posts/2616594708661675... We wanted to take this opportunity to introduce or reintroduce ourselves to everyone and to put a face behind our business. We are Ozzie and Donia (and little Maalika), we moved to Australia 13 years ago and always wanted to start a hospitality business, having been inspired by some friends who run a B&B in the UK. We opened The Old Mechanics in 2016 having completely renovated the old girl from the ground upwards, which was very rewarding as she was nearly derelict when we bought her. We have been running our sister business The Tuck Inn Tuck Inn Bed and Breakfast Healesville right next door for 9 years. We are blessed to be in the Yarra Valley with so much to see and do and it’s a pleasure running our business that allows our guests to come and unwind in our wonderful area. I’ve recently started Mountain Biking and apart from being puffed out a lot, I’ve discovered even more stunning local trails and tracks. Donj (and I) are fond of a drop or two and I’d say there aren’t many better places to have a sippy sip with some amazing wineries, breweries and distilleries on our doorstep accompanied by some fantastic eateries. I guess what’s cemented us in the stunning area was when we became ‘three’.. about 8 years ago! What an extraordinary lifestyle and neighbourhood to raise a family we cannot wait to welcome you to the ‘ville, the Yarra Valley and all that life has to offer!
