13.01.2022 Last night, we held a ‘Hen’s Party’ for a very good male friend of ours who’s being married in a few weeks’ time. Since his name is Ben, we went with ‘Ben’s Hens’for the event name and he was our ‘Rooster’. 05.01.2022 Q: Is it worth paying for a professional photographer for your event? A: Yes, absolutely! Here are the reasons we’d always choose to have a professional photographer at our events: 1. Despite what you might believe, an event photographer can be surprisingly affordable - most have a standard fee for a set amount of time, then charge per hour after that BUT you don’t need a photographer for the entire event generally (weddings excepted) - usually a couple of hours is perfe...ct. 2. When you’ve spent days and weeks (literally!) planning an event, you’re bound to want the special memories captured for but you don’t want to have to spend the entire time taking pics instead of enjoying the event. A professional photographer can circulate easily throughout the venue snapping both candid and posed shots, freeing you to enjoy time with your guests. 3. A professional photographer can arrive before your guests to take shots of the event space and styling - having your photographer arrive approximately 15-30 minutes in advance is ideal and leaves you free to go through your own last minute checklist. 4. Finally, and perhaps most obviously, a professional photographer is just that - professional. Their experience is this field is worth its weight in gold and being able to relive the event when you receive a beautiful collection of images - and being able to share these with your event attendees - is really special.
