25.01.2022 Deloads Why should I deload? I want to keep training hard! As much as we all want to keep training hard. The body can only accumulate so much fatigue before it needs to recover. If you train with too much volume, frequency or intensity you might need to deload sooner than if you had a balance of the three. ... Accumulating too much fatigued can lead to lack of motivation, regression in progress and even injuries. 17.01.2022 NXT LVL Training Series Coming Soon The NXT LVL Series is a standardised strength and hypertrophy training series designed at helping the beginner that’s looking at starting strength training to the intermediate that’s been training for a while but lacking direction or variety in their programming. By no means are these programs cookie cutter or basic. Through each training block there will be smart and intelligent programing each designed with a specific goal. ... These training blocks will include warm ups for each day to help stay injury free, movement specific strength phases, hypertrophy blocks and active recovery days that incorporate mobility work and help with blood flow to aid in recovery. NXT LVL includes macros calculated specifically for you, as well as downloadable PDFs to help learn how to track food and flexible diet. Each person is assigned their own coach and will be able to have 24/7 contact with them via the app as well as a weekly online check in. The best thing about this is that it gives you the tools to stay consistent, progress safely, and achieve the results you’re chasing for the same price as a gym membership each week. There is a reason why so many athletes choose to track their food intake, these can range from performance indicators, recovery but most importantly and why you’re still reading it can relate to your body weight. By now you might have heard that eating too much, leads to weight gain. And eating too little leads to starving to death ... So how do I know where to reduce food? The goal is to reduce calories, not food. So look at where your food choices are coming from. You can keep your food high if you make better food choices. Changing from full cream milk to skim milk in your coffee. Choosing leaner meats like chicken breast over chicken thigh. And of course veggies over easy to consume carbs like rice, breads and pastas etc. So while you don’t need to track foods to lose weight. 08.01.2022 What limit have you set yourself? Do you go all out only to burn out in a matter of weeks? Or is it that you don’t know where to start so you don’t know how you can get yourself to the limit. Is the limit where you want to be? Will pushing myself to the absolute limit make me feel great and get the best results, or leave me feeling fatigued and tired all the time. It’s hard to notice these warning signs yourself. It could have been a hard week at work or late nigh...ts out. It could be that how you’re training that leaves you feeling like you gave it your all, but now you don’t have the energy for anything outside the gym. Training should be sustainable. It should be able to provide you with energy. Add to your life, not take away from it. To improve the function of your body, not make it worse.
