19.01.2022 Hiccup is crazy happy to have his best girlfriend back for a week. Brings back memories of him and Laika sharing the front seat so happily. Little Taddy is the best little friend for him Hiccup has lots of little friends such as Popeye and Taddy. The bigger dogs are just too scary for him mostly

16.01.2022 Popeye and Cecil need to get along as I’m Popeyes’ GodMother and he spends a fair bit of time at our place. Cecil was a little over the top with him and finally we have a more settled interaction happening. It’s all about walking together, teaching them both to come away from each other, watching body language and keeping everyone happy. What helps most is to have a friend who’s totally dedicated to the positive approach and the dogs happiness. @aleksandracrossan is amazing! And Popeye is the best dog ever!

15.01.2022 There is a huge temptation as humans to want to touch. I see it everywhere in our society and we assume that others want to be touched, that touching heals woun...ds, that touch is communication, that touch says that we mean no harm or we just don’t think touch may not be welcome. I see it with dogs and other animals in service roles; we just can't help ourselves, people feel entitled or cannot resist touching these animals while they are focusing on helping their human. BUT, when we think about how to 'talk' with equines and other animals, who are masters of subtle communication compared to us feeble humans - strangely enough, most of it doesn't need to involve touch at all! Training behind a barrier does not prevent communication or building trust and a relationship - it actually enhances it.

13.01.2022 OMG I’m in love with Max, we had a training session with his mum all about walking in busy areas. Baby steps for this big baby. I caught this sweetness when we sat waiting for mum to get a coffee. Cygnet ~ such a beautiful town, a beautiful day and the best company I could wish for #positivetrainingworks #huskiesofinstagram #cygnettasmania

11.01.2022 Dear Evie had a case of milk fever and mastitis after giving birth to this little fellow. Meds and daily milking out by me has seen her improve 100% in five days. I couldn’t have done this without the help of awesome friends and a great vet. I’m actually enjoying my 5:30 am starts to milk her. The best time of day (well in spring when it’s light and not raining !) #jerseycows #speckleparkcattle #smallfarms

09.01.2022 Bird steals breakfast

08.01.2022 Little Cecil was a bit hesitant of the chooks as he is of the cat (seems smaller things than he warrant precautions) But this evening he happily sat and watched them, no barking, no chasing. Just happy to hang around and mooch along side

05.01.2022 Fun in the park today with Bless
