22.01.2022 We are committed to supporting career women in regional Australia and our sponsorship partners like The Bloomfield Group, help us reach even more and more women. We'd especially like to thank Renata Roberts, Chief Corporate Services Officer from The Bloomfield Group for coming along to our recent celebration for our Maitland program. Renata is such an inspiration, recently winning the "Exceptional Woman in Australia Resource Award" after taking out the NSW award in the same... category. Renata shared her advice and tips with our group and really inspired them to keep pushing themselves forward: If people are doubting how far you can go, go so far that you can’t hear them anymore. I can no longer hear those who doubted me!" Watch this vid to hear what Renata had to say about her time supporting our program. We really appreciate the support The Bloomfield Group.
19.01.2022 Meet our Newcastle program participants and mentors for 2020. We are really excited about the partnerships emerging. There are a few missing but we are looking forward to introducing them to you and sharing some of their journeys over the next few weeks and months.
18.01.2022 On this day 3 years ago we celebrated our Pilot Women's Leadership Mentoring program. I remember this moment of pride seeing our first cohort reflect on all they'd achieved - growth in leadership, confidence, self belief, better balance, promotions etc etc. But it almost didn't happen Starting something new was scary, like really scary. People said it wouldn't work, people said employers wouldn't invest, people said we didn't need more women in leadership in Regional areas..., that there were enough Since then we've had almost 200 people through our 8 programs. We've seen countless lives changed from the ripple effect that is growth. We've seen new leaders emerge and we've seen existing senior leaders get better. I'm proud of our tribe and community for trusting us with their development. I'm proud that "I FELT THE FEAR BUT DID IT ANYWAY" there is much more to do, and there is change coming, but I WON'T STOP GROWING LEADERS .....EVER!! S xx
17.01.2022 Top athletes are always looking for an edge. Is it more rest, do they need to adjust training levels, build strengths or work on eliminating weaknesses. Mostly they use the team around them, coaches and trainers to help guide them towards improvement. It's similar in business. Progressive professionals are always looking to grow, accepting of feedback and working on developing a good mentor to help them 'up their game'.... Our women's mentoring program offers a great structure to support women who are looking for more from themselves and more from their careers. There is no better way to grow your skill base than in a program that runs over 5 months and offers access to a team of senior professionals. If you want 2021 to look different to 2020 get in touch .. message us below and we can chat
12.01.2022 Feel it? So do we. We love helping people make their dreams come true. How? ... 1) work out what you want 2) write it down as an actionable goal 3) work backwards and celebrate each step 4) find a mentor to support you and hold you accountable 5) stay the course When you’re there ... look around and appreciate the view.
12.01.2022 It’s the sum of the parts that makes our program so unique and special. We match local regional mentors with program participants. To build the value of our modules, we make them relevant to the region and the current economic climates we operate. Newcastle begins next week and we are expanding our regions and planning to grow our national reach as we speak. ... We appreciate the value of everyone involved in our programs and can’t wait to bring even more to the table in the coming months.
12.01.2022 This week we celebrated this group of legends, closing off our Maitland program for the year. Wow didn't the world chuck a heap at us - bushfires surrounded us on Day 1 following years of drought, then we had wild storms with flooding, then a global pandemic. Nothing stopped them from pushing towards their goals and smashing them. We couldn't be prouder of all they've achieved. ... A massive thanks to The Bloomfield Group who sponsored the program celebration Congratulations to our Maitland cohort! I'm so crazy proud of you all. S xx
12.01.2022 Our team is so excited to be back in Newcaslte this week. We have a group of incredible professionals and we know that the next few months will raise the rooftops and have our group fist pumping all the way to smashing their 2021 goals.

09.01.2022 Note the use of the work HELP. There's no point walking into a room and being everything. There's no point walking into a room and bringing nothing.... The outcome for everyone is always greater when you add to the energy, give generously and take positively.

07.01.2022 ALWAYS WAS, ALWAYS WILL BE. Let's work together for a shared future 8-15 November 2020. NAIDOC Week celebrates the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. ... NAIDOC Week is celebrated by all Australians and is a great opportunity to learn more about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. NAIDOC stands for National Aboriginal and Islander Day Observance Committee. We wanted to acknowledge and pay our respects to the Aboriginal women from this year’s Women’s Leadership Programs. These women are leaders and emerging leaders within community. As they push themselves forward, they show leadership pathways and inspiration for other women. Get involved in the many NAIDOC week events in your local area. You are welcome to post any events in the comments below.
07.01.2022 On Friday I was invited along to meet the Federal Minister for Women and Minister for Foreign affairs at an intimate Women of Influence" luncheon. I was able to communicate to this group of influential women about the work we are doing to build leadership, career planning and economic security for women in Regional Australia. It was such a wonderful experience to be able to share our plans for future programs and concepts that expand our reach and support more women in nee...d right now and it was well received and supported. There is no doubt that women have been impacted more by COVID-19. We will keep developing innovative programs that get results to meet this need. Inspiring to be in the company of such great women, doing great work in the community. Lucy Wicks MP and Marise Payne thank you for this opportunity to talk about these important issues.
06.01.2022 What is your road map looking like in a post COVID economy? Have you thought about where to from here? Are you riding the waves of change like a boss or are you just hanging on for dear life?... Regional Australia is seeing phenomenal growth and as business and governments gear up for the change, maybe you should too?
05.01.2022 On Fridays we strategise, reflect, breathe and laugh (a lot). The team is ... our game is ...
03.01.2022 Dream limitlessly. Take action. Be consistent.... Celebrate along the way. #theopportunitycollective #dreambig #regionalwomensmentoringprogram
02.01.2022 The 2020 Chief Executive Women (CEW) ASX200 Senior Executive Census has been released today and female CEO representation is declining in Australia. Interestingly in the last four years the number of companies with 40-60 per cent women in their executive leadership teams has doubled to 15 per cent, or 30 companies. So things may be looking somewhat up. We know that COVID has moved in and shaken the cultures of workplaces and that the focus on effective leadership is more valu...ed now than ever. Our programs help to grow future female leaders in Regional Australia which helps grow future female CEO's across the country. Great teams have a broad sense of diversity and strong leaders. You've got to see it, to be it! We value our contribution to provide a pathway for talented women to follow. #womeninleadership #femaleceosaustralia #growingleaders
