20.01.2022 So the latest update on COVID19 with hairdressing is that the 30min ban has been lifted and we can now do colour and perm appointments Seriously I DO NOT understand our governments way of thinking!!! This is the complete turn around and opposite to what I thought was about to happen. Anyway abiding by the guidelines at THIS STAGE I will remain open but maybe don’t hesitate to try book in ASAP as I may personally shut my doors for the health and safty of those I love!! Once again please all stay safe, clean and STERILE!!

13.01.2022 TO ALL OUR LOYAL & VALUED CLIENTS & CUSTOMERS Due to the current situation of Covid-19 in Bordertown and surrounding areas I would like to advise you all that as of Wednesday 15th April the salon will be coming out of hibernation and reopening to the public I would like to thank you all for your kind words, well wishes and complete understanding for the past couple of weeks while we have been closed. It certainly wasn’t an easy decision to make, but mentally, emotional...ly and morally it was the right thing for us to do at the time. There will be a few changes within the salon, number 1 being that we WILL NOT be over booking/double booking ourselves we will strictly be 1 on 1!!! We will only ever have 2 of us working at any one time so that we can strictly stick to the social distancing rules. Also please don’t ask for any beauty services to be performed as the answer will be NO, these services are still government banned. At this stage the salon hours will change slightly, we will be CLOSED on Mondays and Saturdays. Jo Baker will work on Tuesdays & Fridays and will also do Thursday nights, Chantelle Halsall will work on Thursdays and I (Jo Ferguson) will be available on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Friday’s with the possibility of more days and hours if needed. We also ask that if you have travelled out of the district or you are unwell, have a cough, sniffle or high temperature please respect our wishes and STAY AT HOME for the required appropriate time. We want to try and keep everyone safe and healthy!! If you would like to make an appointment before the salon is open on Wednesday 15th please call me on my mobile 0418891118 and I’ll do my best to fit you in. 11.01.2022 Chantelle and I had a couple of clients that made our day today........this is one of the reasons we our job!!! The Opening Ceremony for the 2020 Masters Games was supposed to be today. But as we all know due to Covid-19 the games were cancelled. These two ATHLETIC ladies decided to bring their tennis attire into the salon and have a practice in our courtyard before their hair appointments, SELF DISTANCED of course!! They then presented Chantelle and myself with a ‘Care...fully manicured succulent in an up cycled pot’ for hosting their game. Thanks Trish Dahlitz and Leanne Watson for making our day!! You girls were hilarious

07.01.2022 So the Government won’t make the call on hairdressing so I am..........As from 5.30 tonight (Friday 27th) WE WILL BE CLOSED!! I have decided to put my FAMILY, STAFF and CLIENTS first!! It’s been a very hard decision for me to make but I’ve decided that HEALTH is more important than WEALTH. In stating this we would really appreciate our clientele to do the right thing by us as we follow the guidelines of doing the right thing by you all. If you have traveled from overseas please please stay quarantined for the allocated 14days and if you have any symptoms, sniffles, coughs or temperatures please be considerate of others and do the right thing. We have a lot of elderly cli...ents and a lot of other people in our surrounding district have compromised immune systems which makes this virus DEADLY!! We ensure that we are doing EVERYTHING possible to keep our work environment clean and sterile so that you can still continue to support us. ALL magazines have been removed, so if you would like something to read while your having your professional service done I suggest you bring one with you. 03.01.2022 UPDATE COVID-19 HAIRDRESSING RULES As from midnight tonight we will no longer be able to do any beauty services, colours or perms. We are only allowed to have people in here for 30minutes. It clearly blows me away that theses are the new rules......I would have thought to keep us safe that longer appointments and fewer people in the shop would be better than more people and shorter appointments. Anyway rules aren’t rules and at this stage we are still open, although my ...gut feeling is it won’t be long and we will SHUT Please stay safe everyone and stay home if you can
