24.01.2022 Join in with Danjoo Koorliny Walking Together is a large-scale, long-term, systems-change project designed and led by Aboriginal Australian leaders to help us all walk together towards 2029 and beyond. The Danjoo Koorliny Social Impact Summit is an annual key event that brings us together to see what has shifted in the last year and ensure it sets our focus for the year(s) ahead. This year's summit will take place on the Friday evening of August 7, and all day Saturday August 8.

03.01.2022 Greening greenslade. With funding and inspiration from The City of Cockburns Urban Forest Plan and collaboration with The Forever Project and The Organic Collective, together supporting an urban greening project. A forest featuring tough water wise plants and a host of recycled materials will soon pop up in front of The Organic Collectives retail store and warehouse. This will create a unique, funky, engaging space during a 12 week project to replace a hot expanse of asphalt.... This will reduce urban heat island effect of the asphalt to transform the area into an attractive green space for people and local wildlife. The project aims to enhance livability in the local area, as trees and urban forests are known to improve health and well being. The Organic Collective will contribute to the greening of the space by adding espalier fruit trees as a green wall on the north side of the car park wall along with a green canopy of deciduous vines beneath the front awning of the building. "More trees, biodiversity and greening are needed everywhere for cooling our living spaces and the planet".
