14.01.2022 The Federal Govt has announced air freight assistance for Australia's agriculture and seafood exporters during COVID-19. The target is high-value agricultural and fisheries exports, predominantly for perishable products, where Australian exports have important established customers in markets. The sort of products that may be eligible include seafood, premium red meat, dairy (e.g. fresh milk & yoghurt) and horticulture (e.g. fruit, vegetables, packaged salad).... Initial departure points for freight will be Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane & Perth. Other departure points will be considered depending on demand. It will initially focus on the key markets of China, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore & UAE.
