24.01.2022 "Because life doesn't come with a manual, it comes with a mother."
22.01.2022 2020 has been a challenging year for everyone and circumstances have made it even more important for us all to stay connected and, for those who are able, be willing to support those around us. If you feel like something’s not quite the same with someone you know there’s something going on in their life or you notice a change in what they’re saying or doing - trust that gut instinct and take the time to ask them Are you OK? If someone says they’re not OK, make time to listen, encourage action and check in. That conversation could change, or even save, their life. If you need assistance please call: Lifeline 13 11 14 (available 24/7) Suicide Call Back Service 1300 659 467 (available 24/7)

22.01.2022 We are re-opening in all locations! The Australian health authorities have eased restrictions and we are moving towards seeing patients again. We will contact you to re-schedule postponed appointments. Thank you again for being patient with us as we’ve implemented the restrictions required by Government and relevant authorities as part of the response to the coronavirus (COVID-19).... We want to assure you that our priority remains the safety and wellbeing of people - our patients, our people and the community. In line with this commitment we’re continuing a number of safety measures to help minimise any risk of COVID-19 exposure within the practice. These include: - Our team members staying home if they have been in contact with a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19, or are feeling unwell with flu-like symptoms; - Standard infection control procedures to reduce the spread of any infection; - The use of personal protective equipment (PPE) for all treatments such as standard level 2 surgical masks, protective eyewear and gloves; - Strengthened cleaning procedures, including actively promoting the regular use of antibacterial hand sanitiser and surface wipes; - Stringent personal hygiene measures for our people; - Requesting patients reschedule their appointment if they are or have recently been unwell, or are experiencing any flu-like symptoms; and - Touch free temperature checks for our patients.

15.01.2022 Getting your teeth straightened isn’t simply about getting some braces fitted so you can have a more beautiful smile. Granted a perfectly-aligned set of teeth can deliver a winning shot of self-esteem, but there’s more on offer, from what’s officially known as orthodontics, than a dazzling set of pearly whites. Some other good reasons to straighten your teeth are - It is easier to keep your teeth and gums clean - You’ll have less wear and tear on your teeth from clenching and... grinding - You’ve got less chance of damaging your gums - There’s less stress on the jaw joint from bad biting patterns While there is no guarantee that teeth straightening will conclusively fix your dental problems, it can make a significant difference to problems caused by ‘malocclusion’, more commonly referred to as misaligned teeth.

06.01.2022 BREAKING: The National Cabinet approved a move to Level 1 restrictions! This change means more Australians can soon get the treatment they need and get back to their dentist! The announcement that gives dentists the ability to perform all dental treatments using standard precautions for people who do not meet epidemiological or clinical risks for COVID-19.... Level 1 restrictions will take effect once the Dental Board of Australia communicates this advice to registrants having seen official correspondence from the Chief Medical Officer. Individual states and territories may still have or choose to apply restrictions higher than the Level 1 minimum to address local conditions or future outbreaks. The ADA has developed a decision tree to assist you in implementing Level 1 restrictions, available at https://www.ada.org.au/Level-1-Decision-Tree
