I have worked in the Children’s Services sector in Outside School Hours Care for nearly a decade in various roles. My love for training, supporting and mentoring Educators and services is what drove me to create The OSHC Society. 21.01.2022 Educators are GREAT! Why? Because they nurture, encourage, motivate and inspire the lives of children every day. They work so hard to build and maintain relationships with families, and get to know each and every child so that they can provide the best possible care for them. This role isn’t a standard 9-5, every aspect of it is personal. Some days are fantastic, other days you wear the burden of a child’s problems home with you and worry about them all night. Educators are GREAT- because none of this is even in the job description, it’s just what they do

We will visit your service to conduct a compliance check and then create a comprehensive report that includes suggestions on how to improve overall compliance. If required, we will sit down with you, and walk you through the report step by step, to ensure you have an adequate understanding of the areas that may need improvement. 04.01.2022 We will be delivering a variety of services to outside school hours care programs in 2020. They are divided into three main categories: Upcoming Events We will host training sessions throughout the year that any Educator can book into. Sessions will be kept to a maximum of 3 hours because we are aware of the time constraints everyone faces in this industry! We also aim to keep the cost affordable so we don’t blow your budget. These sessions will be a great place to connect w...ith other Educators and of course, learn. Team Training We will be delivering team training. We believe to be a cohesive team you need to be on the same page and take the same approach, which is why these sessions will be filled with fun, knowledge and team building moments. We encourage services to visit our website and take a look at the team training topics that are offered and get in touch for 2020! Consultancy We will be providing consultancy services to assist programs with compliance, assessment and rating and overall areas of improvement. We want to work with you to help you improve your practice and provide the best possible quality outcomes for children.
