20.01.2022 We love this time of the year when the Cherry Blossom Trees are in full bloom. Cherry trees benefit from full sun, but will suffice in shady locations. Planting in a sheltered location is recommended to prevent uprooting in strong winds. Avoid waterlogged soils. Planting near a building should be fine, but the distance away should be based on a tree's spread. When to plant?... Plant bare-root trees between November and March, and container-grown ones any time of year. See more

05.01.2022 PROJECT: Deepwater, Cremorne The Other Side Landscapes were contracted to ready this property for sale ensuring the extensive gardens were maintained in optimum condition during the sales period to assist in achieving the best possible sale price for our clients. This newly installed landscape extends over 9 levels from the street down to Middle Harbour where there is a deep water frontage. Our horticultural teams were responsible for trimming clipping and shaping of the exte...nsive hedges and topiaries. Fertilisation, pest & disease identification and treatment for the lawns and gardens was required. We utilised where possible organic / eco oils and sprays. We were required to keep the lawn terraces looking lush and green at all times.

03.01.2022 Our involvement in the landscape surrounding this multi-million dollar prestige home was limited to soft works including turf and garden installation. The home had a tropical Bali style feel and this was brought into the garden. The plant selection surrounding the pool included a simple pallete of plants chosen for their tropical foliage. 01.01.2022 This spectacular Bellevue Hill apartment boasts a 120m/2 balcony with district views. TOSL were contracted to revitalise the balcony by removing all growing media from existing planter boxes to allow for failed water proofing to be repaired & upgraded. We then reinstalled protection board, drainage and geotextile along with new growing media. Finally extensive new planting was installed providing privacy to one aspect from neighbouring properties but maximising the district v...iews. Extensive integration with the builder was required to ensure project deadlines were met whilst also avoiding conflicts during the various stages.
