11.01.2022 Fruit & seed bars! Testing recipes today and this nut free Fruit + Seed bar is a winner! Ingredients... 3/4 cup organic rolled oats 3/4 cups organic puffed brown rice 1/4 cup pepitas 1/4 cup sunflower seeds 1/4 cup dried organic cranberries 1/4 dried organic sultanas 1/4 cup desiccated coconut 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 1/4 cup coconut oil 1/4 cup tahini 1/3 cup honey 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Preheat oven to 170 degrees Line a 20cm x 20cm slice tin with baking paper. Place the dry ingredients in a large bowl. Heat coconut oil, tahini, honey and vanilla on stove top or in microwave until it comes to a slight boil then remove from heat. Combine both mixtures and mix well. Spread mixture into prepared tin, using the back of a metal spoon, press down and smooth the top. Bake for approximately 14mins or util golden and firm to touch. Remove from oven and set aside to cool completely. Allow to set in fridge for at least 2 hour before slicing.
