22.01.2022 'Prevention is better than cure.' An age-old saying, but one that still applies today. Think about children behaving badly or even running amok, as see on television news programs. Why are these children behaving this way? What need of theirs has not been met in their formative years? Children are not born "bad", so what's gone wrong in these families? How can we prevent it happening in other families?... As a civilised society, we owe it to our children to give them the best start in life, so that they will become the best people they can be. Then our society can continue to be civilised.

19.01.2022 I am thrilled to announce that my latest grandchild has safely arrived! A beautiful little baby girl was born six weeks ago, making the grand total of six granddaughters and two grandsons. How lucky am I? I would often tell parents in my classes that becoming a grandparent is the reward for being a great parent. I'm feeling very blessed.

15.01.2022 Creating happy family memories might seem insignificant when you're busy 'doing life', but as you look back on your family growing up, you'll realise how precious those memories are. We can never change the past; we can hold on to the best of it!

03.01.2022 I've just seen these images and thought how graphic and useful they are! Swimmers beware rips at the beach. I know it's not really beach weather yet, but it will come! Teach your children not to go into a rip.
