25.01.2022 A big thank you to our lovely neighbour who saw a free large bird cage and telephoned me about it, and a big shout out and thank you to Kevin Standring who has kindly donated said cage to us,we really appreciate it for all our new arrivals of baby lorikeets, 11 so far on our dining room table, the cage is going to come in very handy.

25.01.2022 WoW what a day .. our week of babysitting our lovely friend a long billed corella Elvis left the house this morning .. always a pleasure bird sitting him as we have so many cuddles, plenty of antics helping me to clean the cage out and cuddling and hiding under a blanket at night watching TV then on to travelling an hour to a lorikeet that had been in a collision with a car and being looked after by my latest friends of Cris and Brenda, spending an awesome two hours of chat...ting, enjoying the new rules, wining and having nibbles, then heading home with our latest edition to the sanctuary "Hermes" . feeding everyone then chillaxing with Rufus watching a film . now Nikki tomorrow is a day of cleaning and spoiling everyone in your care and then maybe Monday concentrate on cleaning your house . never a dull moment @ The Parrots Perch thank you everyone xx <3 See more

17.01.2022 Lorikeet found on 30/5/19 in Golden Bay being attacked by a hawk. Not hurt and think the plucking may have been before it was attacked. Has a small orange fleck on the back of its head which may help identify. Friendly bird, doesn't mind human contact but lies flat when you try to pick him up and is very vocal, mutters rather than talks but likes to make lots of annoyingly pleasant chirps - if he's yours you'll know what we mean :). If you think it may be yours, send us a message

Someone must be missing this well looked after bird. If you think it may be yours, please get in touch

04.01.2022 A busy day for us today, this morning someone had seen a duck with a possible broken leg on our estate near the lake and Adverturescape, so we went and caught it, took it to a vets where it is being assessed and hopefully can recover and be rehabilitated back into the wild, then this afternoon met with someone from a vets on the Freeway to collect a baby lorikeet to give it a new home.

02.01.2022 Found 28th October, 2019. Pink and Grey Galah found in Barragup on Greenwood Way, appears quite tame. Hasn't talked yet but "dances" when spoken to. Looks to be a female, was unhappy in the cage but calm and friendly when let out, so used to being free in the house. Both wings are not clipped. If you think this maybe your lost bird please contact us .
