15.01.2022 We want any former serving members of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) who are homeless, or at risk of homelessness, to access the services and support they n...eed. We are here to help you through this difficult time. Any veteran in this situation is also encouraged to contact either their local homeless service or ex-service organisation. Support is also available from Open Arms - Veterans & Families Counselling 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, by calling 1800 011 046. Veterans and their family members can also talk with peers who have experienced military service, mental ill-health, and recovery. Open Arms also provide short-term crisis accommodation to eligible current and former serving ADF members and their partners through their Crisis Accommodation Program. For more information, visit: https://www.dva.gov.au/VeteranHomelessness
