I usually don't take videos of me doing this, but this is from Christmas time last year. I generally try to pack all of my orders the same. ... . Tissue paper, some confetti -because it's a party! And then I layer all the goodies inside before adding something sweet, like marshmallows, more confetti and a thank you note. . 09.01.2022 It can mean so many things. To me it's one of my core values. My family is always a priority. My parents migrated here on their own in their 20's, so I wasn't lucky to have grown up with grandparents, aunts and uncles or cousins. But my parents created their own family that wasn't made by blood but cherished as one one the less. I'm so grateful for that because, we grew up with people who genuinely cared about us, who invested their time with my sister and I. And embraced us ...as family- to the point where we don't distinguish them separately. They are pur aunts and uncles, our cousins, our grandparents. Now with our own little family, we have also widened it to include our own village. People who are not family by blood but by the bonds that are created. Not for any benefit other than to share life- be it the great, the yuck and the downright crap. We all are invested in nurturing the bonds. Not just with the adults either. So yes, if you were to ask me what one of my values are. Definitely family. And for #thepartypackco_au that also is a key value. Because all these beautiful memories in life are born from our experiences and bond with those closest to us. Our family and yours. What is one of your values? 07.01.2022 As we end 2019 to welcome in the new decade, I would like to stop for a moment and thank everyone who has been a part of my story this year. It can be both scary and exciting starting something new. Especially a business. Because I put a lot of myself into it. Sometimes I have ideas that have taken longer to execute than I had planned. Sometimes my ideas just don't work out and I have no intention of offering you sub-par products just so I can make a quick buck. It just not ...how I function. I'm a do it 100% and well or not at all kinda woman. And in business, sometimes that works while at other times it doesn't. It's definitely been a learning curve. But I'm excited for the new decade. Because at the end of the day, if I can help YOU create a space or setting that allows you to make some amazing memories, then I have done my job. This little baby has only been open for 6 months, and I want to say a HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE who has supported and encouraged me. From my amazing hubby who won't let me give up on my dream, to my daughter who inspires me to be creative and take risks, to my family who might not always get what I'm doing- but encourage me to be patient and that I have the ability to be successful, to industry collegues #lifeslittlecelebrations I have begun to call friends, to all I have had the pleasure to collaborate with this year, to meeting new mentors #mumswithhustle and other bad ass business women and mums- sister's, you rule!
