04.01.2022 So it's been 12 months since the firestorm pretty well wiped out The Patch all bar the shop, I'm still not sure how it survived but it did and it's looking better than it ever has! It's been a year of small up's and big downs but we are getting there. Still half the fences to do and weed control is going to be one of the biggest jobs for the next few years. Good news is the native bush on the hill is starting to regenerate after 99% of the big timber didn't survive, clearing acres of dead and dangerous trees in very steep country is yet another job that will have to be tackled. What a difference this year waking up to cool weather with rain on the roof!
