23.01.2022 An update of my very slow progress of my Lucy Boston blocks. Just let me tell you, it's agony. I'm not particularly enjoying making them. I only do them when I go to Quilting once a week, because atm it's the only handwork I have on the go. I can get about 8 hexagons together. I can see a table runner being completed but thats it. As you see in the first pic in the bottom corner, there are small squares yet to do, all around to join each block......;(... and I have ANOTHER 4 to go! See more

22.01.2022 Slowly but surely I'm getting there. No rush. It is 'Fancy Forest' by Elizabeth Hartman. I'm enjoying making this for little Austin, my youngest grandson whose 16mths.

21.01.2022 Kits for sale This stunning quilt is a testament to the sampler quilt. Eight pieced designs featuring appliqué as the centre medallion. It measures 163cm X 193cm (64" X 76"). The kit contains exact fabrics as quilt shown by Nancy Halvorsen for Benartex. 'Americana Modern' design is by Diane Nagle. This kit was $320 now reduced to $199. This is a huge reduction and with over 13 metres of fabric.

11.01.2022 My last pic was a sneak peak of my mystery Christmas in July project, sorry I forgot to show you the finished product. My original 'Cherries for Christmas'. ......(I have actually finished quilting it I didn't realise the pic doesn't show this.)

10.01.2022 I've had these quilt tops completed for awhile and finally got them quilted by Shaz @ Patchwork on Parade. The 'Squares' are using 'Lucy's Crab Shack' fabric. A layer cake and a jelly roll. While the 'Stars' quilt is from a Moda jelly roll tin, using 'Hemming House' fabric. I have popped the 'Squares' on the bed in our guest room and with a little tweaking, the room looks so different, bright and modern. (Opposed to a little more country) although I much more attracted to my 'Stars'. I just feel more 'connected' to the colours. Does sound silly?

09.01.2022 My little quilt is finished. Have made it for a neighbours new little boy. Our orchard surrounds their house consequently my husband is on his green John Deere nearby. 08.01.2022 I love decorating. Always have..always will. The hours I've spent changing rooms around just for the right 'look' ! Waste of time or not, it's my makeup. I must say that is something I miss most not having my store anymore. new fabric would arrive, new display. Anyway I pose you the question, do you decorate with quilts?
