25.01.2022 An update on Stage 4 restrictions for The PC Repair Centre. We have been advised by Business Victoria that as we are a I.T. Support company, we are cleared to remain open during stage 4 restrictions coming into place at 11:59pm Wednesday 5th of August. Our Service Centre at 842 High St, East Kew will remain open from 9:30am to 6pm Monday to Friday. Our Saturday hours will return once the restrictions have been lifted.... Since the start of the pandemic we have put several procedures in place. We are now adding some extra rules to not only comply with government directions, but to also ensure the continued safety of our staff and customers. Our existing COVID SAFE measures are as follows: We have had safety screens installed at our service counter since the start of the pandemic. The foyer / waiting area has been modified to create definitive drop off and pickup areas to help maintain social distancing and create contactless drop off and pickup. All machines are sterilised on start and completion of the job All staff are required to wear a mask at all times and keep a 1.5 metre distance. On-Site service calls have been changed where possible to remote access only. Customers who are showing signs of flu or sickness are not permitted to enter the Service Centre. Extra COVID SAFE measures to come into place at 11:59pm Wednesday 5th of August 2020 Only one customer will be able to enter our Service Centre at a time. Our doors will be locked to allow the management of this rule. Wearing a mask at all times is a requirement to enter the Service Centre. We are currently working on a booking system to allow customers to book in their drop-off / collection times. We hope to have this running as soon as possible. Please note that due to increased demand of our services, parts delivery and supplier issues, you may experience a slower turnaround of your repair. We understand that during this time of being forced to work and learn from home this may be frustrating and we will do our best to get your job completed as fast as possible. All jobs are completed in order of booking. While we are obviously relieved to be able to stay open, our hearts go out to our customers, friends and family members who have been, and will be affected by these extra restrictions coming into place.
