25.01.2022 After a year working in Sydney CBD, finally got my name up on the wall! It says Physiotherapist but I offer a very specific type of service and see a very exclusive type of clientele. In fact I refer out 70% of my enquiries and only see the 30% that I feel will benefit greatly from my unique approach. My focus clientele are those with complex pain - pelvic, sexual and abdominal pain issues. I do also see a lot of trauma and abuse clientele. And occasionally see women prep...aring for birth or mothers with birth trauma. My style of physio is also very progressive and holistic. I dont just do physical therapy, I also do emotional release work, nutrition and lifestyle adjustment work, sexuality and intimacy counselling work, understanding and overcoming pain work, trauma processing work, reconnecting to authentic self work, mindset work and honestly whatever else I feel I need to bring to the table to help you embrace your healing journey and map a pathway to a better wholesome life. Because we are not just the sum of our parts, we are an interconnected body and mind (and spirit if youre into that!) I dont follow recipes. I do keep up to date with all evidence-based medicine but thats not all I practice. Im guided by my intuition. And Im a rational feeling type. So I put this together to create a very personalised therapeutic experience. And this is reflected in my practice and my clientele. If youre an intuitive this will speak to you so youll know I can help you on your journey. If youre not, and this sounds like mumbo jumbo, I can still help! Sydney consults available in limited capacity. Online consults always available (Ive been seeing online clients for 5+ years so Im super experienced in this area). Simply submit an online form to book with me and get your pelvic health under control. www.hebashaheed.com See more

24.01.2022 Posted @withrepost @nicolemjardim PERIOD HEALTH, PT. 1: WHAT DOES A NORMAL CYCLE LOOK LIKE? How long is my menstrual cycle supposed to last? Is it normal to have clots? "What color should my period blood be?"... Questions I get on the daily! In this weeks series on #periodhealth, I wanted to dive deep into the specifics of a healthy cycleincluding the 4 phases, what your period should look like, potential problems that can arise, and the natural solutions I recommend. Since your actual period can tell you SO much about your overall health (its your fifth vital sign, after all), lets start there. Ideally, your period should: arrive every 25 to 35 days consistently last anywhere from 3-7 days (everyones different in this regard, but Ive found that 3-5 days is optimal), start and finish with a nice saturated red color thats vibrant and healthykind of like cranberry juice range from 25-80 milliliters of blood loss or roughly 5-16 teaspoons flow free of large clots (bigger than a quarter) or clumps come without pain that disrupts your life. A little cramping is fine but when youre taking more than 1 dose of ibuprofen or staying home because of pain consistently, then you need to look at the cause Does this sound like your monthly flow? If so, hooray! Your period is on-point. If this isnt the case for you, dont worry. Theres lots you can do. Were going to talk about common #periodproblems in the next few posts, so be on the lookout if youre experiencing anything out of the norm! And if you havent already, take my period quiz (link in bio @nicolemjardim) to find out whats going on with your period. #periodgirl : @cosmic_feminine . . . #healthyhormones #periodtips #girlpower #pcos #pcoscysters #pcossupport #fertility #womenswellness #feminist #hormonebalance #hormones #periodpower #periodhealth #periodproblems #healthyperiod #functionalnutrition #holistic #ditchthepill #fixyourperiod #menstruationmatters #pms #bodyliteracy #fertilityawareness #periodliteracy #betterbirthcontrol #periodrevolution #periodpositive See more

24.01.2022 Stocking up on Jonny for work and events. I choose Jonny because the women I work with are often very sensitive around their vulva and vagina region. Sometimes during pelvic floor assessment or treatment I need to use condoms over a tongue depressor to check for prolapse, or I use a condom over vaginal dilators for women with tight pelvic floor muscles. I pair these with @yes_organics water-based lubricant sachets. Unfortunately a lot of mainstream condoms contain nasty t...oxic chemicals that do not sit well with women with pelvic floor issues. @choose_jonny are an ethical company and their conforms are non-toxic and vegan (meaning women with casein sensitivity can use these!) and the bag it comes with is biodegradable. You might be surprised to learn that most condoms contain casein, the protein in milk - which some vaginas do not take to kindly. Jonny are also free from spermicides, glycerin, parabens, and fragrances - another no-no for sensitive vaginas! The only downside is that if you have a latex allergy you cant use these. And they are dusted with cornstarch - which can be drying and again if you have a sensitive to cornstarch - be aware of that. But otherwise, these are my favourite condoms to use in my client population: #vulvodynia #endometriosis #interstitialcystitis #vaginismus #pudendalneuralgia #painfulbladdersyndrome #cervicalcancer #gynaecology #pelvicfloor #pelvicpain #painfulsex #dyspareunia #womenshealthweek See more

21.01.2022 WHAT IS ENDOMETRIOSIS? Visualise the lining of the uterus. This is made up of a specific type of cell. These uterine lining cells break down if you dont fall pregnant and leave your body with your period (uterine lining, blood, cervical mucus). In endometriosis, cells that resemble the cells in the uterine lining exist in places OUTSIDE of the uterine lining. This can be within the pelvis and also outside of the pelvis. They could exist in the pelvis in the Fallopian tubes..., in the ovaries, in the vagina, behind the uterus (pouch of Douglas), on the bowels, on the bladder, etc. These abnormal cells can also exist outside of the pelvis and have been found in the thorax, diaphragm, liver, and even in places like the brain or in leg muscles. So why is this a problem? Well consider the uterine lining - normally it breaks down and leaves the body with the period. But now you have these abnormal cells in foreign places that behave in the same way as the uterine lining but they have nowhere to LEAVE the body. So what do you get?? You get inflammation, pain, scarring, adhesions and in some women infertility. And just imagine! At least 10% of girls and women are living with this right now. You all know at least 10 girls or women right?! Chances are you know one, if not many, females who currently suffer from endometriosis. It could be your mother, your sister, your friend, your colleague, your daughter, etc. So even if you dont have endo, its important to know it exists and that it needs to be managed. This EndoMarch I will talk more on endo so you keep updated just follow me @thepelvicexpert Your friendly physio and pelvic health coach, Heba xx @duvet_days #endometriosis #endo #endomarch #femalehealth #womenshealth #periodpain #periodproblems #uterus See more

21.01.2022 CHRONIC CONSTIPATION affects up to 30% of kids and around 15-30% of adults SIGNS hard or lumpy/cracked poop... going less than 3 times per week (ideally should be going everyday) incomplete emptying pain with bowel emptying straining!! fissures and/or haemorrhoids needing to use a finger or hand pressure to help you get the poop out COMMON MISCONCEPTIONS drinking more water will help only in the cases of acute constipation - NOT chronic constipation eating more dietary fibre will help again only in cases of acute constipation, more fibre may help (but sometimes it can worsen especially if having more fibre than water) in chronic constipation this will not work WHY?? Chronic constipation is usually more complex! Often chronic cases are an OUTLET obstruction. This means that the problem isnt necessarily in your colon, rather the problem is at the end of the chain at the anorectum. EXAMPLE: non-relaxing pelvic floor muscles your anal sphincter is a part of your superficial pelvic floor muscles. If the pelvic floor is tight and unable to relax, it is a physical restriction that prevents your poo from coming out. puborectalis dyssynergia puborectalis is another muscle of your pelvic floor, and sometimes this muscle gets confused and acts in the opposite way that its meant to. Meaning when you want it to relax so you can push your poo out, it tightens instead - again creating a physical block. prolapse - sometimes the elastic tissue holding your pelvic organs up gets overstretched and so your rectum could be sagging down creating a physical restriction and it becomes difficult to poop repetitive anal fissures - little cuts in your anus that leave a streak of blood when wiping and cause pain to poop TREATMENT Collaborative approach between a colorectal specialist and a pelvic floor physiotherapist, and sometimes a nutritionist if there is a nutritional issue involved such as food sensitivities. PELVIC PHYSIOTHERAPY We treat outlet obstructions, non-relaxing pelvic floor muscles, dyssynergic pelvic floor muscles, prolapses, and more. We train your muscles to function and coordinate properly! 21.01.2022 The eyes are the windows into the soul. For much of my life I’ve always seen a person’s inner being before their outer being. I could see things in people before they saw it within themselves. And often my outer self would embody the person’s inner self. If someone was happy inside, my face would be happy outside. If someone was angry inside, my face would become angry. For long I couldn’t differentiate what I was feeling - what was truly my emotions and what was another... person’s emotions. Whenever I am around my bio-fam all I feel is darkness and evil and I would start to become angry and and cruel. But in my heart and soul I know that I am a positive, happy and highly compassionate person. It felt like a constant war between my mind, my heart and my soul. This is the life of an intuitive empath highly sensitive person. Over time my threshold for eye contact dropped significantly. Looking into people’s eyes would feel like a tsunami of emotions and I found myself burning out over and over again, unable to filter out their emotions, unable to harmonise with people. These last few weeks with the isolation, I have been spending sooooo much time on my own. Which means a lot of time getting to know myself, understanding myself, connecting to myself, forgiving myself, being compassionate to myself, because all along I have been taking it out on myself. Falling into patterns of self-sacrifice, subjugation and unrelenting criticism. And as I awaken to myself, I feel I am recharging myself. I’ve been operating for so long on a drained battery and that battery is my heart and soul. The heart and soul need nourishment just like the body and mind. For so long I couldn’t even look myself in the eye. Looking into my own eyes was so disarming because it would reflect my soul. And my soul was tortured - it was in anguish. And not many people could see it - except other intuitive empaths. But it’s hard to look into the eyes of a tortured soul because if you look into the eyes of fire for too long, you feel yourself burning up. Now that my heart and soul are healing and recharging - I discovered I could look myself in the eyes again. See more

18.01.2022 One of the greatest joys of working with women whove suffered from persistent pelvic pain is when they tell you they feel validated. My last client today told me she felt heard. And that just put me in the best mood on my way home. Living with pelvic or sexual pain can really erode you at the core. Many women feel alone and not ok. Telling women that they will be ok, that I hear them and that painful sex is common can be so relieving. And to provide them with the hope... and tools to alleviate their pain is so rewarding. As much as I love all aspects of being a pelvic health physio, working with pain clients is definitely my favourite. . . If you are struggling with pelvic pain, period pain, abdominal pain or painful sex, I hear you! And with the help of a skilled pelvic physio you can have so much relief. . . 18.01.2022 So true. In pelvic health and womens health, its all about collaboration, not competition. I believe in a concept called Rizq which means that whatever was divinely written for you will come to you, no matter what. And another concept I believe in is that whatever you give away, will come back to you more. If you know me, you know that when it comes to pelvic heath enquires I refer out more than I take in. If my waiting list is too long, or my prices too high, or my loc...ation too far, I will refer clients to someone closer, more affordable for them and someone who can see them sooner. This goes for anyone in business, we dont need to be in competition with our sisters, our friends, our colleagues... Just focus on blooming! Repost @sumayadesigns A flower does not think of competing to the flower next to it. It just blooms. Zen Shin Compete. Or compare. Or shrink. This is the goal, to just bloom. Theres a lot in between, but this is the goal #womenshealth @pelvichealth #femalehealth #womensupportingwomen #collaborationovercompetition

17.01.2022 WE DID IT! One of the many joys of a pelvic health physiotherapist is when a long term vaginismus client finally makes a breakthrough (pun intended). I cant count the number of ladies Ive helped overcome vaginismus and painful sex. Now Im of the school of sex is not just intercourse - its outercourse and intimacy at a physical and emotional level. However when a woman has never been able to have sexual intercourse, and does the hard work - be it dilators, pelvic fl...oor downtraining (NOT KEGELS!!!), nutritional changes, stretches, breathing, internal pelvic floor releases, etc - she can reach her goals. Honestly it kind of gives me a bit of a high as well! If youre experiencing pain or discomfort with sexual intercourse, or are unable to achieve penetration altogether, your pelvic floor muscles are likely on the too tight side. Working with a pelvic physiotherapist is crucial in enabling pain-free enjoyable sexual experiences. . . #pelvichealth #dyspareunia #pelvicfloor #pelvicpain #endo #endometriosis #periodpain #sexualpain #painfulsex #vaginismus #vulvodynia See more

16.01.2022 BLADDER HEALTH MONTH Growing up Ive always had what I would call a >bitter< relationship with my bladder aka my bitter lemon I was one of those kids that would go to the loo before school then hold it AAAAAAAAALLLL day and then as I was walking up to the front door Id break out into my bitter dance, holding on for dear life as I tried to get the key into the front door without letting go of my bladder. I probably went about 3 times in a day which I now know is absol...utely terrible for anyones bladder, let alone a little girl. Most people confuse this as weak bladder and think the pelvic floor muscles need to be strengthened. As a pelvic physio I know that I was experiencing bladder urgency which was the early signs of overactive pelvic floor muscles. Over time I started to develop pelvic pain, which I confused with irritable bowel syndrome or period pain. I now am conscious that the lower abdominal pain I would feel is heavily related to my bladder. If I hold on to my bladder for 4+ hours, I become aware of a discomfort in my lower abdomen. But if I am conscious of emptying my bladder every 3 hours, that discomfort doesnt come. As a pelvic physio I can identify these symptoms as bladder pain syndrome which is also known as interstitial cystitis. For many people with IC / BPS they actually cant hold their bladder for that long before they feel pain, and so can also develop symptoms of frequency (going a lot) on top the urgency (busting to go) and pelvic pain in the region of the bladder. IC is also commonly associated with endometriosis - sometimes known as the evil twin or in a triplet with adenomyosis and/or pudendal neuralgia as well as with IBS. As a woman who has experienced all of these pelvic and abdominal pain phenomena, I understand the distress these conditions can cause, physically and mentally. So much relief can be found from pelvic physiotherapy, especially with a physio who is skilled in these painful conditions. If you have or know someone with a bitter lemon please consider pelvic physiotherapy to alleviate the pain and suffering. 15.01.2022 Just a pelvic physio with her vulva puppet. Ok so VAGINA 101: most people say vagina but actually mean vulva your vagina is the passage that goes from your uterus out your body its the hole that you push a baby out of, its where your menstrual blood comes out of, its where you have penetrative sex if you want to fall pregnant... women have 3 holes, the urethra is the one where you pee out of and it connects to the bladder, the urethra and the vagina are 2 different holes. Women do not pee from their vaginas the vulva is the whole outer part thats actually seen when you look down there. In my puppet you can red part ONLY is the actual vagina the vagina is self-cleaning so you dont need to use douches, soaps, femwash and all those chemicals down there the vagina has its own microbiome which is a delicate balance of healthy bacteria the vagina has its own pH pelvic floor physios do vaginal exams to feel of your pelvic floor is too tight or if its weak as the female pelvic floor is easily accessed through the vagina . . . A lot of women feel shame when thinking about their female parts. A lot of people also make assumptions about Muslim women. The truth is that one of the topics that has the most amount of evidence is menstrual health and sexual health. Our Mother Aisha from 1400 years ago spoke openly and explicitly about female health. There was no shame. There was no taboo. There was no stigma. I want to bring back that courage and open-ness. There is no shame in education. And we MUST become educated to empower ourselves. Take the first step. And familiarise yourself with your female body. It has been created perfectly, even in its differences. #bodyliteracy #vulva #vagina #sexeducation #pelvicfloor #sexualpain #painfulsex #clitoris #femalehealth #womenshealth See more

15.01.2022 HOW IS ENDOMETRIOSIS DIAGNOSED? At this point the only way to get a definitive diagnosis is via a laparoscopic surgery. However we can also operate on the assumption of endo. The primary symptom is severe period pain. No matter what you have been told by parents, siblings, friends and even medical and health professionals, know this:... PERIOD PAIN IS NOT NORMAL. It is COMMON affecting 50-80% of women. If you have SEVERE period pain chances are you are in the 10% of women who have endometriosis. If the period pain is so painful that you cant go to school or work or gym, that is not normal. If the period pain is so bad that you feel nauseas or vomit from the pain, that is not normal. If the period pain is so severe that you feel dizzy or pass out from the pain, that is not normal. If the period pain is so bad that you are bed-bound, that is not normal. Say it with me people! PERIOD PAIN IS COMMON. PERIOD PAIN IS NOT NORMAL. Anyone who says otherwise is misinformed. #endometriosis #endo #endomarch #femalehealth #womenshealth #periodpain #periodproblems #uterus #femalepain #periodpainisnotnormal #endosisters #endometriosisawareness #endowarrior

15.01.2022 You have the power to control your thoughts, your feelings and therefore your actions. Its just about whether you think, believe and accept that or not. And if you dont today, thats ok. 15.01.2022 P.M.S aka Pre.Menstrual.Syndrome Means: symptoms in the 7-10 days before your period. Linked to the sudden shifts in hormones and for many women a dramatic drop in progesterone hormone. PMS isnt just mood swings sure low moods, anxiety, irritability can be PMS but for many women it can also be migraines, bloating, constipation. ... We really underestimate the importance of healthy balanced hormones. Especially progesterone. Especially when were stressed. Stress hormone cortisol production burns through progesterone. Which is why stress management is ultra important. Whether thats through meditation, prayer, exercise, mindfulness, self-compassion, yoga, cutting out toxins (ESPECIALLY toxic PEOPLE < often the root cause of our stress), or just taking some deep breaths... Working with a psychologist can also be extremely valuable. I have personally been seeing the same amazing psychologist for over 5 years. What helps you manage your stress? 13.01.2022 When it comes to pelvic floor physiotherapy, you have to be constantly learning. Research is constantly coming out so that we continue to provide the best care to our clients. We are so blessed to have the opportunity to learn from two leading professionals who are at the top of their game. I spent 3 days last weekend learning from my amazing mentor @tarynhallam and she continues to blow my mind with her amazing anatomy and physiology explanations. (Literally! I have a mig...raine after the first day from the mental overload and needed the whole week to recover lol!) Professor Marc Gladman is brilliant with his expertise as a colorectal surgeon (with a background of urongynaecology and advanced knowledge in pelvic floor) so he really knows how to adopt the holistic approach to womens health. I interviewed him on perineal tears a few years ago and you can find that in my YouTube channel. A wealth of knowledge compacted into 3 days which I can now disseminate to my followers and my clients (both women and children). We covered chronic constitipation which Ive written about in my previous posts. And we covered faecal incontinence - a much more taboo unspoken topic that affects 1 in 8 people. 13.01.2022 Because there should be no shame or taboo associated with being a woman! And sadly dont know that a lot of this can be helped. - 1 in 8 women lose control of their bowels and dont know they dont have to live with it - 1 in 10 women have endometriosis and dont know pelvic floor physio can help -1 in 11 women have chronic constipation and dont know that they can improve it (and no - more fibre and water doesnt work for chronic constipation!) - most pregnant women will experience pregnancy related pain that can be fixed . . 13.01.2022 I was chatting to a friend yesterday and we talked about the importance of shifting our mindsets to one of hope to pull us out of despair. We talked about the law of polarity. Where you can have courage vs fear, positive energy vs negative energy, uplifted vs depressed, focussed on health and wellness vs focussed on disease. When you have persistent pain or a chronic illness, often the default is to polarise downwards or backwards. But what if we could pull ourselves upwar...ds and forwards. What if we could tune into our bodies and take control and meet those setbacks with courage and self-compassion? What if we approached our pain with positivity and curiosity? 13.01.2022 I cant believe it - my last period had no pain. Those words make me feel immeasurably happy, when I hear it from a woman whose only ever had severe period pain that she thinks thats it, this is her life, this is what her periods will be like forever. . When a client walks in with a complex pelvic pain presentation and the differential diagnosis includes - endometriosis ... - bladder pain syndrome : interstitial cystitis - irritable bowel syndrome - pelvic floor dysfunction - etc etc I have to roll up my sleeves and break out every tool in my pelvic health toolbox. . This is what we did in just a few short sessions: - pelvic floor down training and relaxation - pelvic floor muscle releases - eliminated gluten and dairy based on a food mood poop diary that showed these were both definite triggers for her - switched to a wholefoods diet and decreasing processed foods - started a supplement of N-acetylcysteine, which is an amino acid that research shows reduces symptoms of endometriosis https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3662115/ . No more period pain - whaaaaat?! . . Seeing a pelvic floor physiotherapist is LIFE CHANGING . You are not broken. 11.01.2022 Brilliant post on #pelvichealth by @pelvicguru1 Yes. Thats a finger going inside a vagina. Where is it going? . Let the clinical pearls begin...... . When most people get a GYN exam or well woman exam or pap smear- they are NOT getting the pelvic floor muscles assessed typically. Its usually described as a health care provider examines your pelvic area. It includes your vulva and your internal reproductive organs your cervix, ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus, and vagina. . But what if an underlying cause of pelvic pain or urinary issues has to do with pelvic floor muscle dysfunction, or urethral fascia, or the nerves deep near the back wall of the vagina? Is someone checking that? No. Typically not in these exams. But alas, there are people who DO assess these things (and we are training more OB/GYNs on this too because this isnt usually taught in Med school or residencies!).... . Pelvic floor /Pelvic health therapists specialize in assessing all of the pelvic floor muscles, fascia, scars, nerves within the pelvis/vagina/rectum AND at the external pelvic area, abdomen, legs, spine, diaphragm, and more... . This image highlights a super important area that is often missed. The (random) finger is touching the OBTURATOR INTERNUS muscle. Its a deep pelvic floor muscle. The obturator internus muscle can be a contributing cause of vaginal pain, pain with penetration, mimic bladder, abdominal pain (or refer there) and more. Its actually a deep hip internal rotator which means it actually attaches to the HIP! It can be a cause of hip or back pain or become an issue due to hip or back issues. Its not always as simple as one muscle issue . And to get more pelvic anatomy nerdy- there are all sorts of attachments and connections to the obturator internus. So, it should get more attention. The arcus tendoneus levator ani is attached to it and that runs down to the ischial spine (and the Pudendal nerve goes through the obturator internus fascia and is also at the ischial spine) . So, has anyone touched your obturator internus (OI) lately? And, shout out to all the pelvic floor therapists. See more

04.01.2022 It can be hard to remember this when youre in a flare-up. I dont know about you, but I go into catastrophisation mode when Im in pain. I feel one has to be in a good place mentally and emotionally to enter that positive mindset. Its a daily challenge trying to reset those negative self-talk neural pathways - which in itself can be mentally draining. I have to remind myself over and over again that:... - hurt does not always equal harm - my nerves are extra sensitive today - I need to move because motion is lotion - pain is a message from my nervous system - I need to breathe because my pattern is to hold my breath, which makes my muscles and fascia grippy and icky especially around my ribs and neck - I need to work on my stress and stop avoiding the situation - practice mindful self compassion - things will get better with the right tools in place . . 04.01.2022 Posted @withrepost @zamzammums Discussing pelvic health can seem uncomfortable for most women but it is an important conversation to have. For our Im expecting session at the end of last month, we got past the discomfort to speak openly about how to maintain pelvic health in the face of giving birth. We got right into it, with breathing exercises and even discussed the gritty reality of a system that throws band- aid, one size fits all solutions at women post birth (do ...your pelvic floor exercises!) As you may guess, there is much more to pelvic health than just that. Every woman is entitled to learning about the importance of pelvic health, that she doesnt have to just deal with issues such as pain or incontinence- there are solutions, and early treatment is key. And having these discussions in a safe and supportive space is just the start... big thanks to our guest speaker @thepelvicexpert for empowering us with discussion and knowledge See more

03.01.2022 POOP, PEE & PERIODS 4 KIDS. Kids can have pelvic floor problems too. In fact many of the women I see in my clinic have had a lifetime of poor bladder and bowel habits. Did you know? *The leading cause of bladder and bowel control problems in kids is actually due to CONSTIPATION? ... Yes! Accidental pees and poops can be a root cause linked to an underlying constipation problem. This childhood constipation issue can often have a domino effect leading to lifelong pelvic floor problems. Things like irritable bowel syndrome, bladder pain syndrome, vulvodynia, painful sex and off course chronic constitution can often be traced back to childhood constipation (and recurrent UTIs). Today kids are sitting for far too long. Rushing to go to school and not having time to empty their bowels. Forced to wait til recess or lunch before going to the toilet. Or feeling uncomfortable to use public toilets so waiting to go home. Denying the impulse to empty your bowels or your bladder over and over again is a bad habit which carries on into adulthood. Looking forward to providing my kids pelvic floor clinic and workshops in Sydneys western suburbs. Serving kids with potty problems and period problems including: - bedwetting - daytime wetting - recurrent UTIs - bladder pain - interstitial cystitis - constipation - soiling (accidental poops) - bowel pain - inflammatory bowel disease (crohns) - period pain - endometriosis - pcos . . . #pelvicfloor #pediatrics #bedwetting #constipation #soiling #incontinence #ibs #periods #crohnsdisease #endometriosis #pcos #interstitialcystitis #irritablebowelsyndrome #pelvicfloordysfunction #bladderproblems #bowelproblems #periodproblems #femalehealth #kidshealth See more

02.01.2022 #Histamine, food and female pain - is there a connection? Asthma and painful bladder syndrome? Dairy and heavy clotty periods? Fermented foods and constipation? Tomatoes and anxiety?... . . How do you know if youre sensitive to histamine? Any issues with seasonal allergies, asthma, eczema, mould, cats, etc, especially since young? Also have female pain issues? Eg #endometriosis #interstitialcystitis #vulvodynia #periodpain #constipation . . Its still emerging in evidence but there is a definite link especially to bladder pain syndrome. . . If I have any fermented foods or histamine releasing foods any of these will happen; - chest tightness, wheezy, asthma, sore throat - skin breakout, pimple, dry patch, vitiligo - abdominal bloating, constipation, pain, gas, cramps - mood swing, anxiety, depression, ADHD, irritability, aggression . . Listen to your body! That means for us: no kombucha, kefir, sauerkraut and whatever is on trend today for gut health! That stuff will bloat the out of you. . .
