What is really interesting to me are the last three paragraphs which compare OWS decision making with what is already happening in some US states. Part of the re- imagination has to be how to develop participatory democracy.

Firstly WHEN did the country vote for gamblers to run our economy, and why should these gamblers declare "that this enormous volatility would continue until the politicians and central bankers came to a sustainable solution for the world’s economic problems... As yet they have not come to a sustainable solution so the casino-style games continue." Of course the acceptable solution is for their losses to be socialised in a TARP style scheme, ...and then when that fails, to further oppress the 99% through austerity measures. Secondly since when did I agree to bail out these gamblers with MY tax dollars which I want to provide useful things like schools, hospitals, infrastruture and social welfare and certainly not their failed investments. The time has come to call these gamblers out. Let them do the suffering rather than the 99% that are suffering now.
