23.01.2022 This is a great strengthening/stabilising exercise for the neck! It's the first step in improving how stable your neck can be and a favourite exercise that I use with my patients to help them hold their adjustments for as long as possible . It's always good to keep in mind that you should aim to make sure your movement and function is at a good level before adding strengthening exercises. If you are unsure whether this exercise might not be for you then feel free to DM me an...d we can chat about it . Otherwise, feel free to try this simple-yet-powerful exercise and see how it makes a difference in how your neck feels after a few weeks of regular repetitions. I advise doing 3 sets of 10-15 reps. Do it in your car, or at the office! Show that neck some love! #necklove #chiro #chiropracticadjustment #chirocare #neckpainrelief #neckpain #neckpaintreatment #headacherelief #posturecorrection #posture #familychiropractor #officework #driving #studentlife

22.01.2022 Whoops! Just realised that link doesn't play on Facebook. Here is an easier viewing of the shoulder exercise!

18.01.2022 Do you have rounded shoulders? Perhaps some shoulder pain? Or might you get the occasional twinge of neck or upper back pain? If so, have a go at doing this exercise and you will likely find that these things improve! The Rotator Cuff muscles are an often neglected muscle group that could ALWAYS use some love and attention, and they are SUPER important for maintaining healthy shoulder function and good posture! Check out the video below and if you know anyone who might benef...it from this exercise, TAG them in the comments :) Have a great week!

11.01.2022 Follow the simple steps in this video to start stretching the muscles that are either side of the neck, running from just behind your jaw down to your collar-bones (known as the Scalene muscle group). These can be super tight in people who have to sit all day in front of a computer or behind the wheel of a car/truck, yet they are also often incredibly tight in people suffer from ANXIETY as well (due to the shallow chest-breathing patterns that we suffer from during an episode... of anxiety). So use this exercise, start checking your scalenes and showing them some love, and enjoy some more mobility in your neck!!! With all the love, Dr Sean

11.01.2022 Dr Sean demonstrates a simple #stretch that helps relieve #neckpain and tightness in the #neckmuscles that connect your upper neck down to your shoulder blade (known as the Levator Scapulae muscles). Super handy muscles for when you want to turn your head or shrug your shoulders! This is a great stretch for people who work at a desk or computer all day, people that do a lot of #driving (cars, trucks and machine operators), and #students!... Doing this stretch regularly, even without pain, is a very good way improve your neck movement and flexibility - so give it a try! Feel free to tag someone that could use this info .
