20.01.2022 Happy Cat Feedback arrives while cooking dinner. It is wonderful to receive cat behaviour stories starting with a problem and ending well naturally. What occurred in between is intriguing. Romeo has been a well behaved mature cat until recently.... His Cat Mum called me frustrated about his behaviour suddenly turning aggressive towards the other cats in the family, and constantly spraying around the house. Coming home late one night finding her bedding cat sprayed was the straw to make the call enquiring about Pet Tunes calming music for cats. I’m told you have a music box for cats. Does it work? Romeo’s mum sounded desparate and not absolutely confident music will do the job to solve Romeo’s issue. Reply I can tell you everything about Pet Tunes music for anxiety. Really you will not know if it works unless you try it. Obviously Romeo was a stressed cat with behavioural and environment difficulty. A Pet Tunes was immediately despatched to Romeo’s Mum via AustPost Express mail. Two days later... around 5.30pm while preparing the evening meal, my phone starts vibrating across the kitchen bench towards me. Text Messages were streaming in from Romeo’s Cat Mum. ...received it ...put it to use straight away...made a world of difference to our cat Romeo...had an amazing calming effect on him from the moment we... you can read the rest in the photo image. The Good News was Romeo got his charm and calm back rather quickly. And dinner turned out to be good too. #pettunes #catbehaviour #anxiety

18.01.2022 Here at The Pet Calmer for the past 12 months or more, we’ve had a wonderful time as sponsor to Championship Show events run by Governing Council of Cat Fanciers in South Australia Our association with and support shown by exhibitors, cat fanciers and those who have reared kittens with Pet Tunes calming music, has opened doors to commence significant research studies into feline stress, health and behaviour. Study trial sessions are currently in progress showing encouraging ...results. To commence these studies was a direct result from feedback and information freely provided by cat breeders and exhibitors. A Big Thank You ... or should I say...MEOW! I’ve discovered Cat Lovers are a passionate people wanting the best for their furry friends. Here at The Pet Calmer is something very special for Christmas. Normally a busy joyful time of year with lots of noise, laughter and celebration. We often forget how our dogs and cats hear and feel about our added noise to their environment. Cats not always feel happy listening to thunderous sounds of human joy, preferring to hide or just get the hell out of there. They’re not party poopers rather using their natural survival instinct to flee. Pet Tunes Holiday is spirited music to gently soothe dogs and cats through the festive season. Not necessary to play loud as our furry friends have highly acute hearing sensitivity. So soft is better, even near the TV. This year, there’s limited stock availability of Pet Tunes Holiday. So let’s know your interest early to secure one for your Kitty-Dog Christmas. Pet Tunes for Feline and Pet Tunes for Canine are different music sounds. They are available, right now from thePetCalmer website and FB shop page. As I just wrote that, the skies here in SE Qld started to rumble with loud Thunder. More scary than Halloween. Thunder is even more scary for cats and dogs. Another reason to quickly turn on your Pet Tunes. It helps divert noise fear reactions. Next reason to get in early, AustPost is already warning delivery delays before Christmas. Hate for you to miss it! In the meantime, stay calm and get ready for a stormy end to 2020.

18.01.2022 A reminder that every day should be love your cat day. I have put a note on my Meow List of things to do, including playing music to the cats. Music is an important tool for cats to feel safe and content. ... Every day a cat will listen to its environment for sounds and noises to react. It may be a mouse moving behind the wall or as faint as an insect flicking its wing against the window. Cat ears are highly sensitive to frequencies we as their owner do not register in our hearing. Cats rely on their ears. Ears are like radars, a cup shaped sonic tool they use to determine the next appropriate behaviour. It may be a rumbling in the distance, an alert sound to trigger fear and flee reactions. Hiding in tight spaces, cupboards, under the bed, cats try to dilute the noise until its safe to venture back into their environmental space. A continual change of cat behaviour from fear to calm back to tightened muscle stress, is like an emotional cranking of anxiety triggers with heightened sensitive to react more often. Making a cat full of anxiety or stress. So on my Meow List of daily things to love cats is play music. Not just everyday music, special music for calming cat anxiety. If cats are listening to their environment for alert sounds either to feel safe or feel fear, why not give them the sounds they can feel safe and calm all the time. A cat’s hearing is highly sensitive, in fact over three more than humans. They hear sound frequencies we cannot register. This high frequency range contain their alert behavior triggers. It’s no good whispering about your cats bad behaviour to a friend expecting not to offend your cat. Your cat can hear you, even from the other end of the house. Music can be an important tool for cat owners, especially playing music designed for feline hearing sensitivity. That’s why Pet Tunes music for Felines has proven so good. It’s music for Cats environment to divert alert frequency sounds while providing the frequencies cats instinctively know are calming, its safe to relax and rest peacefully. I love cats. Tell me what’s on your Meow List today? Hopefully its music just for your cat ... or cats. One unit is enough for a number felines in the household. #pettunes

17.01.2022 When clients give you positive feedback, it's like music to our ears. Both dogs receiving acupuncture therapy are working trial herding dogs. During their therapy session at Pet Wellness Centre, Pet Tunes music was played to create a calming environment for the dogs to relax. Relaxation is important to gain the best results from an acupuncture treatment. ... Both patients appreciated the music so much, they fell asleep on the rug while treatment was applied. The dogs had to be awakened after the acupuncture procedure was completed. Thanks to Karen Shields at the PetWellness Centre for providing the video to her client. The no contact social distancing rules has caused Veterinary clinics to be innovative providing their service and keeping owners informed. Video is one of the innovative methods employed. #pettunes

16.01.2022 How cat owners can trigger calmer cat behaviour. You are watching a highly sensitive ear detector capable of tuning into sonic frequencies humans cannot hear. Cat Ears constantly scan for sounds of danger or alerts requiring an instant response.... I think of cat ears shaped like rotating radar day and night surveillance scanners. Constantly surveying their environment, it’s a natural habit for both domestic cats and animals living in the wild. Ears are one of their tools for survival. Not many Cat owners realise, they can use their cat’s ear scanning habit to quickly calm and relax anxious feline behaviour at home. Although cats tend to hide their physical signs of stress, we have learnt through science studies other habitual displays cat use to protect themselves while under threat or stress. If you are observant, you soon will learn your cats body signals when they need help to calm their emotional well being. One behavioural sign of stress is excessive urination, or marking around the home. Peeing on beds or furniture instead of using a litter tray. Aggression towards other cats in the family is another sign of a very unhappy cat feeling uncomfortable in its surroundings. Hiding, constant grooming are other signs things are not right. So what suddenly triggers a normally pleasant cat to suddenly change into a problem cat for its owners to live with, let alone treat. Your clue is the ears and what they hear. Studies have measured the cat hearing frequency to be over three times more acute than humans. Certain sound frequencies act as triggers for anxiety. These have been scientifically measured, so we know what cats hear... sounds for good behaviour or stress agitated behaviour. To help change a cat’s anxious behaviour, all you need is the correct frequency diversion to trigger their calming sounds that activate relaxation in your cats hearing. Sounds strange... ask your cat! It’s true and proven. Credit goes to Janet Marlow who researched and designed science modified music specifically for cats hearing to relieve anxiety and behavioural stress. Pet Tunes for Feline is a ground breaking science that has reversed thousands cat owners frustrations and attitude towards treating anxiety by simply turning on their Pet Tunes Music. Its a simple to do, more importantly a natural relief for all cats with or without severe signs of anxiety. A happy cat is a happy life. Want to know more ... go to thePetCalmer/shop ... 16.01.2022 Side hanging tongue Bailey found a patch of Jacaranda tree petal to show how a red coat retriever dog can be soo... cool, calm and charming. Remember dogs love to walk, sniff and feel good about going out discovering pretty places.

14.01.2022 Cat anxiety can be a challenging behaviour for cat owners to resolve. Unless you know a little unknow secret every cat knows. Listen to our chat with Melissa Neumann @CatMumma_Official to find out how you can calm your cat’s anxiety behaviour within minutes naturally

12.01.2022 Yippy, Cat Shows are back in South Australia. Since 2019 thePetCalmer has been one of the proud sponsors for the Governing Council of Cat Fanciers South Australia championship cat shows. Unfortunately, the cat show schedule came to a sudden halt in March 2020 with the COVID isolation restrictions. ... It's been a frustrating time for cat lovers in Australia to share their love and knowledge of felines at show and public events with fellow exhibitors and visitors. First weekend August saw a resumption of competition with 136 cats entries and their owners at the All British Cat Society Show in Adelaide. Congratulations to Best Award winner receiving a booty of goodies including Pet Tunes for Feline calming music for cats for a superb effort. Like all news worthy events, cameras are flashing to capture something unique about the personality of well prepared show cats. Our insider Melissa Neumann, known as a Purrrparazzi photographer and Cat Mumma podcaster, clipped a video view of a famous cat named Harry sneaking time to hear to his own Pet Tunes music at the show. Evidently Harry's cat neighbours also tuned their ears towards Harry's music robbing some calmness to be in top behaviour for a little wooing time with the judges. Cats are very competitive creatures especially for a reward or win a ribbon for their owner. It's a pleasure to be associated with members and cat fanciers in South Australia. Their support and feed back and stories using Pet Tunes has been wonderfully encouraging to hear. Hearing PT has helped many cats is like music to my ears. I love cat stories! If you have one, lets share the joy in the comments. #pettunes #catbehaviour #petcalmer

11.01.2022 Do you talk to your Dog? You should... daily... Here’s Why! Not only do dogs have acute hearing, in fact better than yours, they are visual communicators. They watch your lips, your face, your hands even the vibes coming out of your body when you talk. ... You should talk to your dogs daily because they are looking to you for guidance. What’s going to happen next. A good time for talking is walking or interacting in the park. That’s when dogs value their time with you and other dogs. Have you noticed your dog constantly checking in, eyes flick towards you while on the move. Mine do while I’m talking, checking my visual signals... Is he Okay? Are we going the right way? I talk to my dogs about anything and everything. I ask what they are smelling on tree butts. Was it a good or should we move on. I even talk politics. They listen without cristism, and wag a tail as to say ‘Whatever.’ By talking to your dog regularly, you create a communication channel. One that transmits a reading for each others feelings. The leash is another channel of communication. I use slight touch movements to indicate we are about to turn left, right, about, or stop walking. Listen to me I have to tell you...(an instruction). Dogs are highly sensitive to signals, particularly when they know the intended result of the signal. If your signals are not clear, they looked confused guessing what to do next or taking control the best way they know how. Confusion can be a killer to building a canine relationship. Dogs like short words, clear distinctive communication and positive actionable commands. Talking to your dogs also has benefits for you. Maybe your day has not gone to plan or need a beef about how you feel. It triggers the release you need to get over it. Dogs are good sympathetic communicators. They listen, watch intently, offer you consent to rant. A loving dog hug is wonderful to relieve stress. The warmth of a snuggle send my endorphins into a calmness. Take time to communicate with your dog. They may not understand your words, but certainly know how to feel your wants. It’s part of their DNA for survival. They want to help you to be the person they can trust. The person whose calm behaviour can calm their dog behaviour. Talk to your dog daily... but be warned, most dogs like to gossip to other dogs. #DogTalks #petcalmer #dogbehaviour

11.01.2022 What is your Cats favourite music to feel comfortable and relaxed?

10.01.2022 Neo is a Burmese kitten who lost his hair from licking excessively. He licked and licked until no fur covered sections of his body. Neo’s owner, Sharee became frustrated trying a variety of suggested remedies, without real sustainable success. Neo was a very unhappy cat.... I picked up my mobile to answer Sharee call. Her opening statement ‘Does this Pet music work?’ I sensed a frustration in this lady’s voice and listened intently to Neo’s story. In search of a solution to Neo’s hair loss, Sharee embarked on a journey trying a variety of remedies and Neo was still half bald more than frustrating. Cat people are caring people. When behavioural or medical issues upset their feline companions, they have a cat-like instinct to go hunting for a solution. This conversation with Sharee felt like a hunt sniffing out new territory. With an explanation how Pet Tunes works and expectations of Neo’s licking problem using PET TUNES, it ended with Sharee’s hesitant statement. Ah I’m not sure anyway, Let’s give it a Go! I understood her nervous decision, but then you’ll never know until Neo doesn’t has the opportunity. I asked Sharee to please get back on Neo;s progress. Weeks later, here’s Sharee’s response After months of having a very unhappy over-grooming Burmese kitten, we were recommended to Pet Tunes music box and it saved us To be honest, I did not think this would work but it did. We noticed a change in behaviour within hours it seriously cured our very loved cat Neo Thank you! Check Sharee’s response in reviews on this FB page. Neo had an anxiety behaviour issue demonstrated by compulsive licking. Cats are very secretive creatures hiding their frustrations as nature taught Cats to avoid exposing vulnerability. This makes our job as cat carers harder to pin point cause for cat stress. Most times you’ll never really know, only the triggers you can use to influence your cat into calming response. Cats are very sensitive to what they hear. That’s what Pet Tunes is all about. Influencing natural calm behaviour through sounds frequency response. We’re all thrilled to hear Neo fur has regenerated new growth to the sounds of Pet Tunes cat specific music. As the photos show, the change is amazing. A lesson to learn from Neo’s story, Observe your cats behaviour daily. Respond to sudden visual change in behaviour with your immediate attention. Seek advice for both medical and environmental behaviour treatment. Learn more about Pet Tunes on Shop Button in Bio or home website. Do you have a cat or dog story to share? I would love to hear it. #catmusic #pettunes #catbehaviour

06.01.2022 Schoolling for socially well behaved Cats starts early in a kittens life. Cats learn behaviours as they grow. One of the first behaviour learned, is how to suckle on their mother to survive.... Competition can be fierce when the kitten’s family consists of lots of bothers and sisters. So efficient feeding is an important behavior to quickly learn. Tiny little kittens start their education early, within the first 2 weeks of life. Touch, feel, smell are sensory experiences they develop and build upon while growing up. One sensory often overlooked by cat owners is a kittens acute hearing ability. Little squeaks and high pitch meows a kittens makes are like communication test signals sent out to hear what exists within their nearby environment. Cat ears are like radars, sonic detection tools tuned to alert their behavioural response to fearful sound frequencies as well as detect calming sounds to relax and feel environmentally safe. Like all young animals (and humans), kittens really need to go to school to learn how to manage their behaviours. Once learned, big kitty graduates can teach new cat owners how to set up their home environment for their cat to feel safe. Cats will love sharing with their owner forever a happy fear-free life. #pettunes #catbehaviour
