24.01.2022 Looking for the perfect Christmas gift for your furry family member? Found this list of local home made gifts https://www.australiandoglover.com//top-20-christmas-gifts

22.01.2022 This crazy pup is back with her parents. Our house is so quiet. No pitter patter of her paws. We hope everyone is keeping their pups entertained during isolation.

21.01.2022 A lovely little overnight stay with Moo. Isnt she just the cutest! We loved getting snuggles from this beautiful girl.

21.01.2022 Shes so photogenic.. but some of these Frozen peanut butter lickmat was a winner to cool down after!

18.01.2022 Todays adventure with these two snore heads. No off lead fun today as stout was being a cheeky chops and the river was moving so fast I thought it would carry them away. We met so many furry friends and loved exploring the grass, water and mud! They were exhausted on the way home and needed a power nap! #frenchies #thepetgetaway1 #weekendadventures #warrandyte #doglife

18.01.2022 COVID-19 & long post alert. Hi all, as you are aware we have been a bit quiet recently, we thought we should update you as to why. As most of you know I work as a nurse in the Emergency Department and so COVID and stopping its spread is something that is important to me - not only on a professional level but on a personal one too. Unfortunately Ive seen first hand how if we let it, Covid can destroy lives. Not under my watch!... I have been working a few extra shifts and we have been trying to abide by government rules which are the two main reasons we havent had a lot of availability. We miss all our four legged friends (and their owners of course). The list below is how we have changed things to help keep us, you and your pups safe and happy. 1. We are still accepting bookings. However, not from those living in a hot zone inline with government policy. We are in Pascoe Vale 3044 so not yet a hot zone. We expect our customers to abide by this to help minimize any further spread of covid. We want to keep you, us, our community and my patients safe when Im working. 2. Drop off/Pick ups will be contact-less. In an ideal world theyll take place in our front garden, social distanced. Newbies you can come in and explore our home as its important you feel comfortable with where your fur babies will be staying but only one pawrent allowed inside - sorry no large family groups. All drop off/pick ups will be less than 15 minutes. 3. We will not accept bookings for those traveling out of state - unless you are quarantined for 2 weeks post/have returned a negative Covid swab. Please be honest with us regarding this. Its not to be mean, its to keep everyone safe. 4. We reserve the right to cancel bookings at late notice if we become unwell with flu like symptoms or have been in close contact with a confirmed case. This is the only reason other than in an emergency we would cancel a booking at late notice. Similarly we would expect you to cancel your booking if these apply to you too. We have no cancellation fee. 5. We clean all the shared dog toys/bowls etc we have along with our home at the end of your stay to minimize possibility of transmission. 6. We may not take your dog on quite as many adventures as we previously have. We want to limit our contact with other people as well as limit the amount of people able to pat your dog. Again minimizing possible transmission. But dont think that means were lazing about. Oh no, there will be park time, walks, snuggle time, mental stimulation inside, lots of ball throwing and some nose work too. Thanks to everyone who is abiding by government rules - you are not only helping to keep yourself and your family safe, but your helping to keep me and mines safe too - in doing so our most vulnerable people stay safe too.

17.01.2022 An interesting read to those who have been staying safe at home and loving the 24/7 snuggles from your pets...but have the prospect of returning to work at some point in the near future. https://7news.com.au//animal-behaviourist-explains-signs-o

14.01.2022 After a really busy year I can say uni is over!! Woo! Surely emergency departments can close on Christmas day ? Ha). But we are back and ready to start bookings again for the new year. As a few of you are aware I am starting a new job so my rosters are taking a little bit of time to get or...ganised but hopefully things will settle down and we will be back to normal again :) Thanks to all of our regular dogs and pawrents yous make this job the bestest! Cant wait to see yous all again soon

13.01.2022 Thank you to everyone for being patient during these times. Not only for sticking with us while we are closed, but for doing your bit to reduce the covid numbers and following the rules :) We hope to open with the easing of restrictions soon take care and stay safe we miss you all :)

With that in mind, we are opening up again and ready to take some bookings. We will still have alot of our drop offs outside and be cleaning everything coming in and going out of our home with each visit. We are super excited to have some furry friends again! Feel free to enquire about dates, so far we are taking bookings until May 2021. We are not availa...ble for Christmas '20 or easter '21. 02.01.2022 Ziggy is pretty dog reactive, so we have been doing walks at odd times where its quiet outside. It allows us to make sure shes relaxed and gets the most out of exploring. But it means we have lots of time through the day to keep her mind active and not getting bored..like letting her work out how to open this egg carton with some of her snacks in it. A little bit of help and she got it!

02.01.2022 Ziggy is loving the sunshine pouring in through the back doors this morning :)
