16.01.2022 Super Quick & Easy Homemade Dog Treats During training I can go through a lot of dog treats but it’s expensive and I worry about the amount of preservatives and additives in some of the shop brought treats. I was shown this recipe a few years ago, it’s super easy and dogs absolutely love them. ... Less than $2’s a batch and you can keep them in the freezer until you are ready to go. 1 cup of flour. (oat flour for wheat intolerances) 2 eggs. Meat of choice (tinned fish, liver, chicken, white fish, offal, wet dog food.. the list goes on) Just make sure it is dog friendly. Mix together and pop in the microwave or oven. Cut into pieces and freeze. One happy Doggo. Message me for training tips and advice.

12.01.2022 How to cope with the loss of a pet. This post is dedicated to Jessie and Oscar. The most loyal loveable companions one can wish for. I never dreamt that the next time I would return home would be to a dog-less household. I still remember saying goodbye to them before I headed to the airport almost 2 years to this day and my mums words. ‘This may be the last time you see them’ I didn’t want to think about it. I dismissed the words as living abroad the sacrifices you have to ...make are difficult enough without thinking the worst. I still remember the day we picked Jessie up. I was 16 and had been begging my parents for years to get a dog and finally my wish had become true. I sat in the back of the car, tiny bundle of cuteness on my lap , fresh puppy smell, a huge grin on my face. I was in love and she became my best friend quickly after. We picked Jessie as she had tried to pee on my sisters foot the first time we visited. She continued the same cheekiness even to her elderly years which made us love her even more. She gave us 13 amazing years and shall be truly missed. I am so thankful that my parents gave our dogs the best homes one could wish for. It’s just a dog. Why get so upset? In our household and I know so many, our pets are a member of the family. Loosing them feels like you have lost your best friend. My favourite part of the day was coming home to be greeted by a wagging tail and someone who was generally so excited to see you. After they pass the quietness of the house and stillness is saddening. It is never easy and you must cherish the memories you had together. Some of my best moments were with my dogs by my side. I feel so lucky to have such loyal companions and friends who were always there. Although it shall never be easy they will always remain in our hearts and thoughts. If you have lost a pet and are struggling with the loss, there is a lot of help and support out there and I’m always available to chat if you ever need. Much love. The Pet Listener.

01.01.2022 I absolutely love my job, especially when I get to see the progress of the dogs and clients I work with. Another great session with Tonker, Tracey and Darren today. He is making great progress and an absolute pleasure to work with.
