15.01.2022 Three of our favourite photos of @mandymeganlewis from Brisbane! Amanda came to ya to shoot her portfolio and we were absolutely smitten. As a darker-skinned biracial asian girl, I haven’t really seen any models in media who look like myself. I always felt a little self-conscious growing up because I looked different from the people around me. ... I am also petite, and a lot of modelling agencies are still reluctant to hire anyone under 165cm. I want to challenge myself and gain more confidence in my body. Getting into modelling would not only be a great personal achievement, but also serve as an inspiration to others like myself! It’s 2020, times are changing fast and the need for more and accurate representation in the fashion industry is growing. Amanda is not only stunning but also super talented and professional! Agencies need to start looking at signing people that are more relatable. It’s happening but it’s not happening fast enough. We @thephotostudioaustralia don’t believe anyone should let their height get in their way! We have seen so many examples of models below 5’7 giving it a go and killing it over the past three years. We can’t wait to see what you will accomplish @mandymeganlewis you are a amazing in every way!

We also took a more commercial approach since his big goal is an acting career. This teen shoot is his first step towards exploring more of his capabilities and unleashing his potential.
